Guys with 3-4 Experience:

Guys without 3-4 Experience:

I'd add two more FA's:

Marques Harris, OLB, ex-Chargers - mostly a special teams player but was a rush specialist early in his career. 28 yrs old, 6-1 245.

Arnold Harrison, OLB, ex-Browns & Steelers currently with Tuskers of UFL. 27 yrs old, 6-3 241.

I'd say the player I would have liked to see come in a compete during the offseason was Chris Gocong. He was a FA coming off a not so great 2009 who could have been had for cheap. I've always felt he could perform well as a rush 3-4 OLB. We will see because he was traded to Browns. He simply didn't fit the Eagles 4-3 and is probably not an option at this point because I think he will fit it w/Browns D.

At this point like you said the FA pickings are slim but there are players out there who could be had in a trade. I've always liked Rashad Jeanty from the Bengals, I think when he's given the opportunity he is a productive player. He was injured, fractured fibula, in last year's playoffs vs Jets but he's recovered now. He's a solid special teams player and has 32 starts as a SLB in the NFL. He was a DE for Edmonton Eskimos where he was a pash rusher and 2x Grey cup Champ. 27 yrs old, 6-2 243. The Dolphins hosted him on a FA visit this past offseason before he re-signed w/Bengals.

I don't get it. Why would you sign a new contract and then decide two weeks later that you were going to retire. If your plan is to retire, don't sign the contract.

He obviously didn't tell BB he was retiring either. What a moron, how did he not think this would hurt the team?
