Belichick started the game as the only person to coach in 9 Super Bowls.

Likewise, Brady started as the player with the most Super Bowl games, tied with one other player.

Belichick’s record of six Super Bowl appearances as a head coach and 4-2 record is better than Don Shula’s appearances who was only 2-4.

The Patriots roll-over the head coach they fired to get Belichick.

The Strength of the Defending Champions is undermined, and Seahawks lose majority of their fans.

As a coach, Belichick shares the honor with former Patriots athletic trainer Woicik of being #1 in coaching teams to six Super Bowl rings, enough for two hands.

For head coaches only, Belichick is also #1, tied with Noll with 4 Super Bowl rings.

Tom Brady joins Montana for #1 in Most Super Bowl MVP’s of 3. He’s also #1 in Most Wins as a Starting QB, with Montana and Bradshaw at 4.

Brady is now #1 in Super Bowl TD’s, passing Montana.
