It feels great to send both Ryan "defensive masterminds" home packin' as losers in consecutive games; so much for their "mystique." The best part of all is that both defenses knuckled under in the fourth quarter when it mattered most -- Wrecks succumbed to the Patriots' own "ground and pound," while Rotund Rob's boys wilted under Brady's arm.
One thing about Rob today: I've never seen an assistant coach grandstand like this fat load. It seemed like every series he was on the field sticking out his belly, yelling and flapping his arms over something. At one point where he was bending a ref's ear that ref looked very, very close to flagging him for unsportsmanlike conduct -- he was none too pleased with Rob's colorful language. Garrett, on the other hand, was pretty anonymous the whole game. Odd arrangement they've got there.
Waaay too many Cowboys fans in Gillette today, many times more than last week's relatively sparse contingent of Green Beans fans. Glad they went home with long faces.
