I wouldn't mind seeing Harper come back up, given what we saw in pre-season.
But the coaches have a better vantage, and right now, it's LaFell, Amendola, Dobson and probably Martin. If Martin can't go, Harper might get the call up, but it wouldn't surprise me, even in that siutation, if they don't call Harper up.
Wouldn't surprise me because nothing BB does surprises me anymore. Makes me crazy, sure. Makes me feel like a fool when I rage against him, sure. But surprise me? Nah.
I don't know. Edelman, Amendola, LaFell, Martin, Dobson. Not saying those last two especially are world-beaters, but compared to CB or the O-line it's not the thinnest part of the roster. Guess my real point is, bringing in one washed up guy as a body wouldn't solve the problems of Edelman being out.Depth was a problem even before Edelman went down.

I agree that Collie isn't the answer. Had Welker waited a week, on the other hand...
Not him either. Thanks for but no thanks. Don't want no thankless ****suckers. (excuse the language)
Yeah, I have to imagine they would have at least brought him in for a look. Of course, depth becomes a problem if, say, Amendola was to get hurt. He's been very reliable this year, and he's taken tough hits just fine, but suppose an expanded workload gets him injured. Maybe they can't afford to use him to death, in which case you're going to need more from LaFell (sure), Martin (?), Dobson (ugh), and poor man's Gronkowski to succeed.I agree that Collie isn't the answer.
