Well that makes it more understandable.. 7 mill a year, the pats were not going to pay a wr that much right now..
New deal for Boldin in Baltimore already signed - 4yrs, $28m.

They're paying a certain linebacker $9M/year...
Are you being sarcastic? That's cheap.
We don't know all the other factors involved, and maybe a lot of it is guaranteed. Still sucks.
I'll take my chances in the draft with the strongest WR class in eons. one of those 2nds and the 4th should be spent on WRs.
Heck, I would make a trade and move back into the 3rd round (say 44 and 47 for a 1st and 3rd rounder) and take two WRs back to back in the 3rd and 4th.
This is the strongest WR crop in many moons. A lot of guy can really play, from Dez Bryant to Golden Tate to Damian Williams to Mardy Gilyard, etc.
You attributed several things to him that he never said. You said what I wrote would be the worst possible situations. Those are reality kiddo.
Stop flip flopping, I'm not putting words in your mouth.
Don't worry guys...
Coach BB is evaluating the local pizza boy from Dominos.
I hear trades are in the work.
$28M is a pretty fair contract for what Boldin would have done for us. Very disappointing.
As much as i would love to have Boldin. He will want a new deal at about 8 mil a year!!
