    My Jersey:

    1) The offensive line really turned it around. Maybe it was just the Falcons defense, but Matt Light shut down Abraham. Brady had time all day, and the run blocking was solid. This made all the difference.

    2) Maroney injured. I didn't see him come back in. Hope he is okay -- I think he's at least as good a back as Taylor/Morris. That being said, the running back depth showed as the Pats finally remembered they could do something besides pass the ball every down.

    3) Brady's accuracy seems to be improving, although he sail a couple early and missed an easy completion or two. Unfortunately, the receiving corps continued to let him down, either dropping catchable balls (Watson, Edelman, Galloway) or not reading the adjustment correctly (Galloway, Aiken, Galloway). Good to see Brady getting back in the groove, though.

    4) Will Galloway ever see the field again? I think Brady has had it with him.... And after Brady's explosion, I don't think Galloway went back in.

    5) The defense didn't skip a beat after Wilfork went down. Shows some great depth. I was worried at first, but they made the adjustments they needed to make.

    6) The offensive playcalling was radically improved. I don't know if it was BB calling the shots, but the offense looked more like those early Brady-led offenses than 2007's shotgun offense, and I liked it. Although whoever is calling the shots still seems a bit overly prone to wasting a down gambling on a deep ball.

Should not we want Greg Lewis back?

He made a spectacular 40 yard TD grab to win the game for Vikings. Can we at least get that 5th round pick back from them?

He had only arrived Minn a couple of weeks ago. Look like pretty good chemistry with Farve on that play. Don't understand why is it so hard to achieve same level QB-WR chemistry here.

This can't be stressed enough. They could have won by three or four touchdowns if guys made catches they absolutely should have made.

yea, galloway looked like a shipped puppy after brady exploded....

if this guy cant get it str8 VERY SOON, i doubt we keep him around....whats the use?

but first we have to play a game with both moss, and welker....maybe galloway is being used differently b/c welker has been inactive...

Not worried about the O - still early and you know what ? The D is stepping up hardcore.

I'd be much, much more worried if they were winning games 38-35. TFB will right the ship and the receivers will haul some in... especially with the return of WWWelker.

You know it's an easy cheap shot at Farve... Seriously why's our WR play so poor when a castaway can make that kind of play? Its not always the other guys fault if we failed at our own. We have been busy trying out receivers last week.

There's a thread for all of this, and Ian posted specific instructions.

for me the defense was the story of the game. it looked like the communication was great and people were where they were suppose to be. atlanta has kind of a vanilla zone defense pats should have put up a few more points

It may be just me, but I was VERY happy with this game.

    1) We won. Period.
    2) We won against the Falcons, who have been doing really well and are easily a playoff caliber team.
    3) The D just keeps getting better. No sacks yes, but only 10 points allowed to a very solid Atlanta offense. Forced punts on 4 separate drives. Now, remind yourself that this D just lost 9 superbowl rings worth of talent AND was missing Wilfork and Mayo, and you'll see just how significant the D's performace really was.
    4) The dropped catches from receivers were frustating. But you have to factor in the slippery conditions. Remember last year's home game against the Steelers? Similar conditions, and there were a LOT of dropped catches in that game too. Besides, this issue is easily fixed, and TB's accuracy is getting consistently better.
    5) Running game finally being used, and performing brilliantly. OC finally woke up to the fact that we have 4 stud RBs.
    6) 26 points in a game with half a dozen dropped catches and no Welker. Where do you think we'll be when those issues are taken care of?

I fully expected the team to get off to a bumpy start, but improve steadily as the weeks pass. And this is exactly what we have been seeing. :singing:
