1) The offensive line really turned it around. Maybe it was just the Falcons defense, but Matt Light shut down Abraham. Brady had time all day, and the run blocking was solid. This made all the difference.
2) Maroney injured. I didn't see him come back in. Hope he is okay -- I think he's at least as good a back as Taylor/Morris. That being said, the running back depth showed as the Pats finally remembered they could do something besides pass the ball every down.
3) Brady's accuracy seems to be improving, although he sail a couple early and missed an easy completion or two. Unfortunately, the receiving corps continued to let him down, either dropping catchable balls (Watson, Edelman, Galloway) or not reading the adjustment correctly (Galloway, Aiken, Galloway). Good to see Brady getting back in the groove, though.
4) Will Galloway ever see the field again? I think Brady has had it with him.... And after Brady's explosion, I don't think Galloway went back in.
5) The defense didn't skip a beat after Wilfork went down. Shows some great depth. I was worried at first, but they made the adjustments they needed to make.
6) The offensive playcalling was radically improved. I don't know if it was BB calling the shots, but the offense looked more like those early Brady-led offenses than 2007's shotgun offense, and I liked it. Although whoever is calling the shots still seems a bit overly prone to wasting a down gambling on a deep ball.
