I have been thinking a little bit about the psychology that could potential be a byproduct of this past season and the events that shaped it. My opinion is that Cassel will be traded before this year’s draft and that a healthy TFB will be ready to play at a high level by week one. It is also my opinion that the events of this past season will be nothing but motivational for Kevin O’Connell. I believe that there can be an enormous amount of positive results to follow the most prevalent would be reaping trade dividends for Cassel.
At any rate, I would like to get some of what I have been thinking off my chest and out there for those of you (well all of you) that are smarter than me to kick around and discuss. I believe that Cassel’s success as well as the team’s inability to get into the playoffs will motivate Brady to the absolute apex. Trust me, I don’t think he needed any help, in my opinion the man can walk on water and swim on land. However, I have to believe that mentally this is the best scenario for a true competitor who has sat out a full season. Then to O’Connell, what could motivate someone more to work hard and buy into a system than the past season Matt Cassel had? I don’t know anything about O’Connell he could have a football work ethic that rivals Jenna Haze’s porn work ethic. My point is I feel at this point the Patriots quarterbacks have all got to be in the best possible mental condition. I think now, where we stand, all of our quarterbacks are in a position to contribute at the top of their personal ceilings. opcorn:
