Round 1.22 Jared Odrick DE. 6'5 308. Richard Seymour's shoes are big and they need filling. That's a tall order, but Odrick has the length and size that BB likes at DE. He can also get up the field and create pressure on passing downs.

Round 2.12 Jerry Hughes OLB. 6'2 255 lbs. Great speed off the edge, relentless leg drive, he's an explosive passrusher. Main question - Is he tall enough for BB?

Round 2.15 Everson Griffen LB. 6'3 280 lbs. A freakish athlete for his size. Extremely athletic but inconsistent. Might be capable of playing the Patriots' versatile Elephant position on defense.

Round 2.21 Arrelious Benn WR. 6'2 220 lbs. A big, strong, and talented WR that can play a possession role. Is fearless going over the middle and adept at picking holes in zone defenses. Benn could move the chains for some NFL offense. Big question - can he pick up the Pats complex offensive scheme? Can he increase the variety and quality of his routes?

So basically I focused mostly on the defense in the first two rounds of the draft. I think Benn drops because his route running isn't polished, and I don't think he'll run faster than a 4.5 at the Combine. If he is smart enough to pick up the Pats offense he could turn into a real asset though. I am assuming that Wilfork gets resigned, so we'll just focus on filling in the hole beside him and behind him. Griffen is one of those guys that is a bit of an enigma. He has the elite athleticism I think it takes to play elephant back for us.
I like Hughes pure speed and leg drive as a passrusher, I don't know if BB takes him off the board because of height concerns though. In any case the passrush is completely retooled with this draft. Whether Burgess or TBC will come back is unknown at this point and we need better options anyways.
Am I reaching a little for Odrick? I could easily see a slight trade down to pick up a 3rd round pick and then nab Odrick in the 25-27 range.
