Gotta love it but just when you think NE has had bad luck with injuries, you look at the teams we have played in the past 2 weeks - Denver and St. Louis and look at this weeks opponent Indy and see that all 3 teams have lost their starting RB to injury and will not play or haven't played against the Pats - Definately a big help with more emphasis on rushing the passer and not as much worry about the run as it could be.

The #1 RB on our team is also gone...If you consider Maroney worthy to be called that of course

There will be more times when we face a teams #1 rusher in the not too distant future and that becomes interesting on how the defense will prepare for it when it happens - Possibly the Bills Lynch is next up for a top RB to challenge.

    #12 Jersey

We shut down the 4th leading rusher in the entire league, Frank Gore.

We also held the 9th leading rusher, Thomas Jones to under 75 yards.

You're right... but our #1 is out too. Oh, and our #2. And #3. And our MVP Hall of Fame quarterback.

Don't quite feel like we're lucky, or any sympathy for the teams we've played.

    #24 Jersey

I have a Rams' fan at work and he started in on the Steven Jackson thing this morning. I just shook my head and reminded him we were missing the top player in the league and our top three RB so . . . STFU :D

    #11 Jersey

It's amazing how quick other teams' fans have forgotten the Patriots did NOT in fact enter this season with Matt Cassel as their starting quarterback.

I recall one Jets fan claiming the biggest impact on the Jets-Patriots game was the injury to the Jets kicker. Even his fellow Jets fans made fun of him for that.

Yeah, we moved on to something else. I think I said that their rookie WR wouldn't have done his stupid robot dance if Harrison had been playing ;)
