Changes....

White will make the roster. In space he has legit shake and bake and his blitz pick up while not good is serviceable. Still needs to improve it but he looks good in the open field even though he can't do much between the tackles.

Grissom makes is but as a LB. I had him on earlier but he played So much LB I think that is where they carry him for now with him never going to get a snap as a DE this year. Too much talent in front.

Gibson makes the roster. I assume Dobson will get healthy and make it but Gibson looks to reliable to let go considering injuries right now.

9 OL feels light right now honestly but I don't see a way to keep 10.

11 DBs are kept. The competition will not be entirely settled for game 1 and i think they extend it into the regular season. Also no way Roberts makes the PS i think. You need to carry him or lose him.

Branch makes it. The Pats just got run on too easy and proved they can get pressure with the DEs but they need to stop the run. You don't wanna run out of big bodies.

Slater?

What about Hightower & Mayo? I saw both of them & Slater on the sidelines last night, in uniform,
but that might not mean that they have been removed from the list.

Grissom got more reps than anyone but McClain. How many were at OLB? Any?

9 OL feels light right now honestly but I don't see a way to keep 10.

I'd be fine with 9 OL, particularly with the versatility that some/most of those OL players have, and the fact that we'll keep at least 1-2 OL players on the practice squad as well. I don't think it's necessary "too light" at all. As a matter of fact, I think we've kept 9 before recently, and I think 9 is going to be the popular consensus for 2015.

With respect, I don't think that fans can tell a lot. There has been a bit of analysis, and folks think tha Andrews did very well. I did forget Groy, and now added him to the bubble.

My guess is that Andrews is now ahead of Groy and Kline. This is the 9th OL, developmental position, a position that should always be inactive. And even when inactive, the #9 OL usually doesn't play. I don't have strong opinions on the position.

What has Andrews done to warrent his making the 53 ahead of Kline or Groy?
He sucked just as badly last night as the other 2.

At the moment, Andrews would be my pick for the practice squad, as we always carry 1-2 developmental OL there.

I'd have Kline getting in as the 9th OL right now. At least he's proven to have starter's experience, even in the postseason. I think that the last spot will come down to Andrews vs. Kline.

Jordan Devey, we hardly knew ya, and that's okay with me. Groy to me, was always going to be camp fodder. We'll have to see how it shakes out.

One possible hint for keeping Andrews over Kline
--Belichick reportedly called him twice during the draft, and they gave him a 35,000 dollar signing bonus. He was also a 3 year captain and starter at center for Georgia against good SEC competition.

NOTE: Casey Walker in / Alan Branch out to the PS or IR...IDK. (no transaction has been made....its just a hunch) (salary $2,150,000 / cap hit $750,000). Maybe it's Siliga or Easley to IR...IDK.

FIRST, we need to know who we have at LG. Who is the starter? Who is the backup? Wendell? Mason? Jackson? Groy?

THEN, we can consider whether we can afford the luxury of a developmental player like Andrews or Barker or Groy on the 53.

UNTIL THEN, I guess Kline is not only on the roster. He our starting LG.

You just cant put players on the PS. They have to be eligible. Branch probably hasn't been eligible for 7 years.

I've never seen such consensus on rosters. I agree with 50 of your choices.

1) Groy is good choice. He may be the choice. As of now, I think that Kline is starting at LG.

2) If we are carrying 11 defensive backs (an OK idea), I'd prefer McClain. No one else has shown himself to be a top nickel back.

3) I prefer a 5th LB to Moore. I understand that we only play 2.2 LB's at a time and that Freeny is a solid backup. Given the injuries to Hightower and Mayo, I think that a fifth LB is prudent. We usually carry a 5th LB who is a social teamer. Moore is OK in the ST role, but I'd still prefer a LB.

If I were to keep a 10th DL, I prefer on of the Johnson's or Chris Jones to Moore.

Chris Jones, Brandon LaFell, Ryan Wendell, and Dane Fletcher are all on PUP currently.

Thank you for the info. This is important. If I understand the PUP rules, these four are now the only players eligible for an in-season PUP designation.

Keeping Fletcher and Chris Jones on the PUP seems a reasonable roster management possibility (as Brady6 suggests). They would be good additions for the second half of the season.

I think Gibson will make it at this point because of the health of BL, AD and JE still not 100% and that nobody else who has played with the team (Tyms/Boyce) has either shown much or has been 100% healthy either.

When Danny Amendola is your healthiest WR by far you want that solid other vet in the mix

Amendola's going to have a monster year. Finally fully healthy after that gruesome groin tear.
