Patriots fans are intimately familiar with the Steelers and their fans (and coaches) obsessions with being above reproach - classy and full of integrity, if you will.
Check out what Tomlin and Porter get up to at a kids football game (where their kids play):
Integrity.

Unashamed homerism I know; but the consistent excellence of this coaching staff often goes unmentioned - taken for granted, if you will.
I'm not saying these guys don't make questionable decisions from time to time (offensive playcalling at 2.30 left in regulation last night, for example) but...
Fantastic and forthright read from Matt Chatham on the common ground shared by on field foes.
Its the league vs the players (with a side helping of parity).

Enjoy.
As we move inexorably toward a (likely) unsatisfactory resolution to the whole 'ParityGate' nonsense (you might know it as Deflategate) - I thought it might be an idea to take a step back from things to gain some perspective.
As mentioned before, the NFL has (wisely) modeled itself on a parity...
Lets say the Patriots are sitting 6-2 or so in November and look like they might make the playoffs (what..again? Yawn) - what steps will the NFL take to avoid the Patriots unfairly excluding the likes of Buffalo and Miami from the post-season?
In other words i'm looking for poorly worded NFL*...
Bob Kraft is a business man - and there aren't any billionaires who haven't mortgaged huge part of their soul at one point or another.
Yesterday was just another business decision for Bob Kraft - its not about Bob 'being weak' or 'lacking spine' - its about Kraft going along with the leagues...
Of all the current scandals besieging the NFL - why is the one that requires the least investigation also the one that we have heard least about?
After 2 weeks of ongoing BS, speculation and NFL leaks - it seems as if the the Deflategate nonsense has conveniently died a death - I say...
I'm kinda conflicted on the subject of Vereen's value - especially as he is due to be a FA as the end of this season.
I know people often over-react when evaluating their own guys - but Vereen seems to go down with first contact about 98% of the time - the TD run yesterday, however, was...
Eligibility guidelines: Every former Patriots player or head coach who has been retired for at least four years is eligible for consideration.

Fin fans counting their chickens....
Uh oh......
Well, maybe ya did...TOUCHDOWN KENBRELL THOMKINS!!!
Its that enough wallowing in Dolphan misery?
Nah, lets have some more!!
We'll finish with a fitting finale - as reality...
Amazing disparity between ypc conceded in base compared to nickel.
In their base 3-4 they currently allow the 2nd fewest YPC in the NFL.
Get them in their nickel and suddenly the YPC conceded is 6.0 - which is the worst in the NFL.
Thats pretty amazing.
Hopefully we can get them in...
As with all criticism, this must be viewed within context: Brady is without doubt one of the elite QB's in the game right now.
I noted in another thread that Brady appears to have real trouble hitting deep routes outside the numbers - not just this season - but for awhile now.
Some posters...
I think this is an especially poignant question this year, as quite a few of our rivals are in a state of flux - either trending upward (Texans), downward (Jets) or noticeable change in identity (Ravens).
Texans
Right now, they are the most balanced team in the AFC.
They emphasise the...
One constant through this season so far has been the protection of #12 from speed rushers on the outside.
We've seen plenty of good pass rushers so far from the likes of Baltimore, Seattle, Arizona, Denver and St Louis - and none of them have been able to really able to lay a hand on 'the...
As per Reiss blog: Vontae Davis is out - which is a good thing bearing in mind he made a few plays against Brady during his Dolphins incarantion.
This means none other than recent AFC player of the week, Darius Butler, will be a starting CB against Brady et al on Sunday.
Generally speaking...
Currently at the NFL fan rally in London.
Quality Gronk! moment from the big man himself one of the hosts dared him to do a GronkSpike - he picked up the nearest mic and smashed it off the stage.
Mic dead.
Everyone (including Robert Kraft) then had to share a mic for the rest of the...
