Draft Simulator

My first go, with double dips on DE and TE (seems to be the Belichick M.O).

29
DE KONY EALY
MISSOURI
62
G GABE JACKSON
MISSISSIPPI STATE
93
TE TROY NIKLAS
NOTRE DAME
126
DE GEORGE UKO
USC
182
ILB DEDE LATTIMORE
SOUTH FLORIDA
190
TE JOE DON DUNCAN
DIXIE STATE
221
DT SHAMAR STEPHEN
UCONN

This is one of the better draft simulators I've seen. There are a couple of head scratching picks but I think its better than most. Not having the trade down feature I think makes it a little more realistic than the other one we've used on here where its easy to trade down and load up on picks.

29. DT LOUIS NIX III- NOTRE DAME

62. TE TROY NIKLAS- NOTRE DAME

93. C MARCUS MARTIN- USC

126. QB A.J. MCCARRON- ALABAMA

182. TE XAVIER GRIMBLE- USC

190. DE AARON LYNCH- USF

221. FB TREY MILLARD- OKLAHOMA

I'm pretty happy with that

29 - DT - LOUIS NIX III - NOTRE DAME
62 - DE STEPHON TUITT - NOTRE DAME
93 - TE TROY NIKLAS - NOTRE DAME
126 - C MARCUS MARTIN - USC
182 - CB AARON COLVIN - OKLAHOMA
190 - CB DONTAE JOHNSON - NORTH CAROLINA STATE
221 - FB TREY MILLARD - OKLAHOMA

Triple dipping Notre Dame seems very unrealistic, but I couldn't pass up on Tuitt at 62 and Niklas at 93.

29 Xavier Su'a-Filo G UCLA
62 Troy Niklas TE Notre Dame
93 DaQuan Jones DT Penn State
126 Antone Exum Safety Virginia Tech
182 Aaron Colvin CB Oklahoma
190 Kevin Pierre-Louis LB Boston College
221 Trey Burton TE Florida

This draft simulator was much better than the other one. Only downside was no trades and a couple guys were selected WAY too high (Christian Jones was always gone by pick 55 for me and Telvin Smith was available late in 5th round). I feel 62 might be high for Niklas, but he was always picked around the 85-90 range; if I was BB I would wait until the third and trade up a couple spots to grab him.

Here's mine. I'm not crazy about the fact that the C position was not addressed but I couldn't pass up certain players on the board when I was on the clock.

TRIED A THIRD TIME AND GOT ERIC EBRON IN THE FIRST ROUND

Only did five rounds but I think I killed it.

29 Justin Gilbert. Found this to be very unbelievable. Hard to pass up.

62. Christian Jones.. He wasn't making it back to us in the 3rd in simulation

93 Justin Ellis. He wasn't making it back to us in the 4th

126. Marcus Martin. Found it hard to believe he dropped that far.

a very secondary heavy draft. might have done it differently on a do over, possibly take a TE instead of Martin. But all in all not bad. Unfortunately ASJ got taken before round 3.

I went with the best value at the time which prevented me from drafting on the OL either time. I liked the second draft of the two the best if for no other reason Ebron falling to 29 which is a pipe dream. I wanted to draft different players in both but Smith, Ellis and Colvin were just better value at those points than anybody on the board.

What that really highlights is how quickly picks go away...yikes. A good GM has to really know the "fits" for his team in the middle-to-late rounds.

How long does the simulator take before you're up for your first pick? I've been waiting 15 minutes now and not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be or if it's because my office is using Internet Explorer. I'm being forced to actually do my job while waiting for this thing.

Exactly. I'm watching the names on the scroll go off and thinking no, No, NO, NOOOOO!!!!! :bricks:
