To be honest, for some reason I can't think of any. I know it's bad, but for some reason this year was more just stressful than fun. The nailbiting and nerves as a result of the perfect season actually sort of made the season less fun than it could have been. That said, I think the fun would've been monumentally larger if they had hoisted the Lombardi.

I think an underrated game was the Jacksonville divisional playoff. Watching Brady execute that night was poetry in motion. I mean he was a Welker drop and a tough (but catchable) ball to Watson away from going 28-28! Plus that fake statue of liberty TD pass was my second favorite play (in terms of aesthetic beauty, behind Brady to Moss to Brady to Gaffney) of the season...

Agreed on the Jacksonville game.

What I love is that the one deep pass Tom threw ALL GAME was on a busted play, and he managed to find Donte's facemask. Too bad the "fastest guy on the team" couldn't bring it home!

Agreed, seeing Brady take apart the Jags D was really satisfying. The fake statue of liberty was great. That definitely was the best game Pats game this season, it wasn't a blowout although the Pats did break away in the 4th quarter.

Again the Fake statue of liberty was amazing!!!!!!

I was at this game as well and yes, that Moss non-catch was incredible. One of the best catches I have ever seen. Too bad the refs said he was out-of-bounds.

I need to find a video of that. That was the most craziest **** ever.

i go with the Baltimore one at first but also i loved the Dallas win

Lol.. Wow, if you really think we were at full strength that game.. We were very banged up. Not making excuses for losing, but just saying, we weren't at our best. We had a couple big time guys out for the game.

wah....wah...wah.

OK than fine you were not at full strength fot that game and that is why yuo lost than you have to go back to the previous year and take your AFC title away because we were not at full strength.

Can it be a College game? First weekend, Illinois vs Missouri was one of my fav games all year. The 99 yard fumble return for a TD, the young QB for Illinois playing his guts out, the rivalry of the game that isn't a rivalry game per se', it was great. Also the Michigan Choke against Ap State...the 2 blocked field goals at the end to keep Michigan from winning...that was great, and I'm not really a Mich hater...just enjoyed seeing the kids from Ap State play their hearts out and get the big win.

NFL
I enjoyed the Ravens vs Pats game, cause as a Steelers fan, I couldn't actually root for either team, and just watched the "football" on the Field. The complete melt down at the end by the entire Ravens team...well that was great fun to watch too.

Unfortunately it was probably the worst broadcast of any game this year with the horrible ESPN crew, Don Shula, and the Ray Lewis crocodile tears angle they played up all night.

Agreed. I almost peed myself I was laughing so hard.

I have a couple of favorite games this season:
Week 2 SD was amazing. The vibe at the stadium was crazy and it was one our best games of the season. LOVED how Norv took all those extra precautions in "protecting" themselves against NE cheating and then came out and got their asses handed to them. LOVED watching LT mope around the sidelines( who knew I would get this same pleasure TWICE this season! )

Dallas- Standard Patriots ass-kicking. Loved the post game T.O. and Crayton comments.

Indy- Probably my favorite last 9 minutes of a regular season Pats game ever.

Pitt- We had some unbelievable plays in this game. Probably enjoyed it so much bc this game I had to watch in a bar in Philly surrounded by Pitt fans. :)

Btw, great thread to the OP.

What is this 07/08 season you speak of?

Kidding, umm...I would have to go with the game against Indy.

Indy game followed by Jax and SD 1 and 2.

probably due to short term memory, but I really liked the 2nd half of the Giants game (reg season) when the records started falling. Not pretty, but special.

My favorite Steelers game was the 21-0 shut out over the Seahawks. Just because we could flat out say STFU about being cheated, you couldn't score on us in the SB and you STILL can't score on us.

Their offense is so pathetic.

Also, the College game I enjoyed was the Pitt over WVU. back yard brawl at its finest. To see that entire stadium of WVU fans in complete shock...the coach after the game, looked like his dog just died...that was great...from a rivalry stand point.

The Steelers Pats game...oh man...that throw back from Moss to Brady deep pass...I actually laughed when it happened...we'd used that same play in the playoffs in 05 against the bengals, and it worked just as well...nothing like seeing your own plays come back to bite you...hated the loss, but against the Pats...it seems we drop the ball in big spots...hope we get you early this year, before you are on a run and way before any of my stupid rookies open their big mouths.

When that play happened I wasn't thinking of the particular throw back you mention but I was thinking how it was cool to pull of the trick play on your team because Cowher (does Tomlin like them as much?) used to love the gadget plays and it seemed like he had one cooked up for any/all big games.

my fav was the Super Bowl....i definitly thought the Patriots were gonna win no matter what but i guess i was rong...

Beating the Colts coming from 10 in that **** hole to send it off was amazing.

steelers vs seahawks. Loved seeing the seahawks get shut out and the steelers played without 4 of their starters too.
