This guy is an AMAZING QB. We are so damn lucky that he is our leader. What a performance tonight. He is at the top of his game right now. We should all enjoy it. I know that we have a million threads about him, but man he was just awesome tonight. Highest QB rating in NFL playoff history. WOW.

How that game does not rate a perfect passer rating is unbelievable.

I'm sure if he hadn't been a football player, he would've been a surgeon. ;)

congrats guys

that is the single greatest game i've ever seen a qb have in my 28 years of watching football

the play where everyone including the jags knew it was going to be a screen, and he calmly just goes deep to stallworth, i was in awe

well done , this is pretty much why i've said he's always been better than peyton.

It's crazy to think that the two incompletions were not his fault. One was the Welker drop and the other one was to Watson (I think).

It's just incredible. I'm trying my best to just relax and enjoy it, because we are watching some spectacular play.

M-V-P!

Is it just, or is this ESPN front page trying to imply that Brady is ******ed?

I think its him and Montana now as the best of all time, especially if they go on and win the SB this year. Given his age, he still has alot of seasons ahead of him. He will be seen as the best of all time. Lets enjoy it while we can.

Yes the line is playing phenomenal and he's got great receivers and all that, but Brady is the f'n man. Like in his press conference, everything is so ho-hum, oh well just another playoff win, another record, big deal.

I love him. Love.

26/28, one of those incompletions being an awful Welker drop, a ball he catches 99% of the time and the first one I didn't see live as I was working for the first half, but that performance tonight was amazing. It reminded me of the first half of the season, instead of locking onto Moss and forcing the ball, he took what the defense gave him and killed them driving down the field 5-7 minutes at a time.

I know, it's ridiculous. I was gonna post saying "expect to see this pic in a lot of hater sigs." They literally take 1000 snapshots a minute and go with the worst possible one. Same with BB and the pic of Brady golfing. shameful.

26 for 28, 93% accuracy! Most accurate QB performance in playoff history.
3 words - Laser Guided Arm. :D
That's the only way to describe what Brady just pulled off.
That was incredible!

Tom Brady was phenomenal tonight. As a 49ers fan, I'm obviously not gonna consider him the greatest QB ever (at least not until he gets 5 rings, anyway), but he's the clear #2 for me.

On a side note, however....his 141.4 rating is not actually technically the highest in playoff history. Montana had a 147.6 in Super Bowl XXIV, though I'm not sure if even that is the highest.

Didn't someone start a thread this week that got over a 100 responses about Brady's shoulder, lol. How it was so bad he wasn't going to play, lol

And he was throwing into a lot of tight coverage.

The man is awesome.

If one thinks about it by choosing Football TB gets to be both, a Football player and a surgeon......His patient tonight was the Jags the next patient in the Razor's Surgery Suite will be Indy.

Great rah-rah post game thread lady. I think we should all enjoy it too. I'd like to enjoy it in the game threads, but some folks don't want me to. Keep complaining about the how the <fill in the blanks> sucks. Annoys me to the point I think more about how they don't deserve to have a 17-0 team to follow than what is actually happening on the field. But I'll likely have to just work on that because they don't ever let up...until it's over and we won.

Actually, there are 4 QBs that have posed a perfect passer rating in a playoff game; Peyton Manning in 2004, Don Meredith in 1976, Terry Bradshaw in 1983, and Dave Krieg in 1983.

His 93% completion is still a record though and his 141.4 passer rating is still incredible.

100% agreed....

Only pointed out the QB rating as the original poster stated that it was the highest QB rating in a playoff game, rather than the highest completion percentage.

That Statue of Liberty may have been the best fake I've ever seen. When the announcer screamed "Brady still has the ball", I was stunned. That was magical.
