From best to worst.

Offense
2010
2011
2012
2013
2014
2015

Defense
2010
2011
2012
2013
2014
2015

Offense:
2010
2011
2012
2014
2015 (first half would top 2010, second half might have been worse than 2013)
2013

Defense:
2015
2014
2010
2012
2013
2011

Defense was harder to rank. I think the top 3 and bottom 3 are easy to group, but ranking them within those groups felt kinda arbitrary, with the exception of 2011 being the clear cut worst.

Looks about right. I might put 2014 on top on the defensive side.

The more I think about how wretched the D was in 2011 the more amazed I am they won the AFC.

Flip flop those two as 2012 had a better outside passing game, better running game and when a healthy Gronk was in there they were unstoppable. 2010 offense was damn good too. Like choosing between Sports Illustrated swimsuit models...

Defense
2014
2015

I'd flip flop those two reason being the 2010 D was awful on 3rd down and while the 2012 D wasn't much better, they did improve once they acquired Talib. I'd also move 2014 D #1. They went on a great run at the end of the year.

Its crazy how we only won one super bowl this decade injures are a motherfu×er, a full healthy gronk in 2011 and 2012 that's 2 back to back championships and dont get me started on 2015

2010, 2011, 2012 defenses were all trash.

13 defense is too low IMO. The 12 and 10 defenses were pretty meh, and the 13 defense was pretty good whenever it was healthy.

Edit: saw you changed it, I'd still put my vote for 13 above 10.

My one problem with the 2014 defense was that the pass rush was very lackluster often times. Sometimes the great corners we had didn't even matter, the QB would have all day to throw.

In 15 the pass rush was stellar most of the year, and with Butler and Ryan both playing well, it really rounded out the whole defense.

2011 was a historic level of trash though.

Indeed.

Vince Young had a 400 yard passing day against them. So did Chad Henne. Ryan Fitzpatrick wasn't far off from 400. The Raiders put up 500 yards of offense on them. Dan Orlovsky almost threw for 350 himself. Rex Grossman 300. Broncos got 250 rushing.

When perennial pro bowlers like those guys can light your D up then you're just not very good on that side of the ball. Embarrassing.

Some of that is because of the game plan. Against crap QBs, BB will often button up the run and dare you to win with your QB.

Other reasons were that their pass rush stunk and didn't have anyone who could cover.

That's why Moreno killed us in 2013 (but he killed us fair and square in 2014). But 2011 was more pure bad defense and less game plan, I think.

Offense:

1. 2011
2. 2010
3. 2012
4. 2014
5. 2015 (INJURIES, could have been #1 or #2)
6. 2013

Defense:

1. 2015
2. 2014
3. 2013
4. 2010
5. 2012
6. 2011

Woulda, coulda, shoulda...sigh...:(

2014 gets my vote as the tops for both because Lombardi.

That 2010 offense was a well oiled machine. Especially in the second half of the year against those top defenses. That's why the loss against the jets was so bad

Other reasons were that their pass rush stunk and didn't have anyone who could cover.
I would say that the 11 pass rush wasn't the worst that we've had. Andre Carter and Mark Anderson both recorded double digit sacks that season.

Our worst pass rush season was definitely 2010. You know your PR is bad when Mike Wright is your leading sacker with 5.5.
