Kevin Faulk: Defends the Wall

I believe that Roger will fall and will fall in historic fashion. How do I know this? I know this because since the beginning of civilization every empire that has utilized its inherent power to control the masses through lies, deceit and force rather than integrity and truth, has fallen and fallen hard.

Did the Persian king Darius expect to lose to the heavily outnumbered and poorly armed Athenians? No, and now we have the Marathon.

Did General Thomas Gauge think he would be thwarted by a bunch of farmers who had dropped their pitch forks to pick up a musket at the battle of Lexington? No, and about a year later we celebrated our first Independence Day.

images

Did Hitler expect a bunch of ragtag soldiers from around the globe to stand up in solidarity. Did he realize that his superior Aryan race would soon fall? Did he realize that truth overcomes evil no matter how powerful? Did he understand that the human spirit demands....Integrity?? No and now we celebrate V day.

These glorious battles which represent the true human doctrine of truth and Integrity are not without Heroes. Heroes that gave us hope, gave us a sense of pride and they gave us a reason to push on.

Today we remember these heroes for their sacrifices. Their ability to put the cause above themselves.

In the battle of Marathon we had Pheidippides who ran 26.2 miles to deliver the news of the victory.

In the battle of Lexington we had Paul Revere and Samuel Adams. ( Interesting side note: The Beantown Pub in Boston is the only place you can drink a cold Sam Adams and see a cold Sam Adams at the same time.) (BTW: Sam Adams is buried across the street from the Beantown Pub)

During WWII and the invasion of Normandy we had the great General Patton. (Sorry no pubs)
Edit: Technically not in Normandy but the movie was great.:D (thanks @TheBostonStraggler )

Today is a new battle which will produce new heroes and new images. Today we have a new hero. We have a man that infiltrated enemy lines in a Trojan like fashion to support the Patriots Cause.

Ladies and Gentlemen I introduce to you......Kevin Faulk... our new Hero.

Our newest hero who has given us hope and one that reinvigorates our drive for truth and Integrity.

So Patriot fans I tell you ...We will not go quietly into the night.... We will not vanish without a fight We're going to live on! We're going to survive!" Today, we celebrate our Patriots Day!

Thank you Kevin Faulk for standing on our wall.

@Tony2046,

Glad we have another history buff. :)

Historically, when someone is taken advantage of, it may take awhile, but eventually there is a day of reckoning.

Venetians cornered the market on the India to Europe spice trade, until people like Columbus searched for alternate routes.

French Revolution was another example of the haves deluded into taking advantage of the have-nots for too long.

Most of us had jobs when bad stuff has gone on a long time, but usually it finally gets corrected.

On Hitler: On one book, his word was "worthy." A number of stories of was he tall enough, Aryan enough, maybe Jewish ancestors. The suggestion is how could he be non-Aryan if he liquidates Jews, Slavs, Communists, etc?

Watched that video 10 times!! People hate the Patriots we know that -but they especially hate the Patriots when the team, owners, the former teammates and the fans band together. So if there is one thing that has been positive about this stupid situation its that the patriots as a whole and as a nation are more committed and stronger than ever. Can you think of a better athlete in all of professional sports to stand behind other than Tom Brady !? We suspect that TB12 is exceptional in life as he is on the field but we know his former teammates to his current teammates continue to show their admiration and loyalty for him and that's all you need to know about who Tom Brady really is!

Great write up. One correction (hey it's the offseason) we didn't have Patton for the Normandy invasion except as puffed up fodder for a slanted media. See there was a desk jockey, probably named Roger Gobels, who insisted he be suspend and serve the suspension during the normandy invasion. Yet after his suspension was served Patton was a key instrument for the breakout from normandy and arguably responsible for chopping off 2 of the 4 legs of the German Western front table.
After his suspension Patton went on a massive tear while the desk jockey sat in his chair and sucked on it in silence(well, probably). Patton rose rapidly back, a record breaking blaze to the top of the field in a fashion so dominating that the words "he was suspended" was rarely mentioned again.

Ya, I laid the parallel on pretty thick :)

Thanks for the correction. If memory serves it was a group of envious generals behind the scenes who were tired of Patten's success that pushed for his suspension and simply utilized Gobels as a puppet to do so. o_O

Enjoy history but unfortunately have a poor memory. Not an ideal combination although great for watching old movies. "I can't remember how this ends." haha

Forgot to post the link.

One of my favorite Pats of the BB era; probably of all time. As soon as the witch hunt ******** is done, I'll be back to having my Kevin Faulk avatar.

I met him once at a charity event. He hung around after the event was over for quite awhile to chat with fans and sign autographs. Definitely seems like an easy going guy.

What he did last night was awesome. I wish I had been watching to see it live.

That was a damn fine reply....:) (and actually some truth to it. the "GI General" media push was a direct outgrowth of Patton envy. Ironically the word outside of the media circles was the "GI General" had a horse face)
