I know i know i don't play in the games ect. But after a big loss with so many chances. I just feel empty because the Pats are my team..almost my life in some ways. I don't want to turn this into a sob story but after my dad passed a week after last years SB win...this team just means so much more to me now and this season meant a lot as weird as it sounds. So it will take me a while to get back to form....

What about you guys

Its getting more difficult every year as Brady continues to get older and the reasonable expectation of how long he has left continues to diminish. But usually March when FA starts. Except in cases like 2009 or 2013 when it was obvious that we really didn't have much of a chance to win it all. That's easier to get past.

It depends on the loss and how we lost. I'm over this one for the most part *or maybe im just lying to myself* but I'm still disappointed in most of the team and very very disappointed in belichick. I also completely understand the feeling after a loss. The morning after and week after just completely sucks compared to when your team wins. Even more so when the playoffs are involved. However the better team did win. Its not like the game got stolen from us or something. Denver kicked us in the mouth and everyone on our team minus the defense and gronk played like ass.

I'm over it. I got over it sometime Monday. Pretty much the quickest I've ever moved on from a playoff loss. We just won the Super Bowl a year ago and next season we have plenty of potential as well.

Now if we were still seeking #4...this would sting a hell of a lot more.

I agree that sometimes it depends on the manner in which you lose. For instance 2009, 2013, 2015 we just ran in to a team that deserved it more in those games.

It's much harder with 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011. Three heart breakers and a devastating upset to a hated rival.

Been over it since Sunday night.

Winning the SB last year helps a lot. If Pats didn't win the SB last year wouldn't be over it for at least a week.

If you want to see a guy who is in rough shape go check out El Pres' blogs and twitter. Said he threw up in his sleep last night because he was having nightmares of the videos and screenshots of Gronk being open on the 2 point conversion.

This one doesn't bother me as much as other heart breakers. I think it was the way the season ended. With all the poor play and terrible OL. I had hoped the KC game was a step forward. But as soon as the game started it felt like the ending of the regular season.

I do hate that Brady got the living crap beat out of him, I do hate that Manning gets credit for the win even though it was the Denver defense that won the game for them.

I also know that Carolina will be the eventual Super Bowl winner, and we will have to hear about Newton and Rogers being the best in the league from here on out.

The Pats will be back next year, with or without our 1st round pick, we will improve. But time is slipping away for QB and coach. And I can't shake the feeling of a wasted opportunity.

No joke I actually had a dream last night that me and my mother were flying to SF...woke up....and today has been ****

Not long. When the reality of life and bills hit , that usually does the trick for me.

I'm still not over 2007. Never will be. That was my 86 World Series.
I'm with ya. I still think of that loss and what could have been. I hate it when any of those highlights are on TV. Still painful to watch.

Depends who you lose to. Manning teams loss last a long time. And it doesnt help this time the SB is my back yard

Guess i am a lot different than others

Shouldnt have mattered if he was triple covered. Thats the only guy they shouldve gone to..ah well..

Sorry to hear about your Dad and hope he got to see the SB last year.

I was over this loss by Monday.

1. One of my fears during the start of the season was that Brady would come out flat, especially after the mediocre pre-season performances. That would have ignited the, "See, Brady can't play well without deflated football's", nonsense.

But he and the Patriots came out hot and blew that deflategate crap out of the water. I can't imagine the crap we would hear for the rest of our fanatical lives if not for the near perfect start of the season.

2. Brady/BB and crew got the elusive 4th ring and in spectacular fashion. This was probably the most intense moment of my entire fan life. The Butler interception may beat out the Ortiz home run in game 4 of the 2004 ALCS. (Although when you think about the moments we have had as fans of these teams......wow.)

3. These guys made it within 3 points of going to the SB again. I find it amazing that they scratched their way that far with a mega injury laden season.

Anyways, we are on to next year and have a lot to look forward to.

By far what pisses me off the most is the fact we shouldn't have been playing in denver to begin with. I know I keep beating a dead horse by god damnit it pisses me off. Had home field wrapped up and u toss it away like unneeded garbage.
