This team's roster going into 2016 is going to be stacked on both sides of the ball. If we can get even average injury luck they are going to be a force. That's just with the players we have now. Add in a key FA and they'll be flying.

Just imagine the defense alone

DL of Jones/Brown/Easley/Branch/Sheard/Nink/Grissom (Top 3 in the league)

LB of Hightower and Collins (Best in the league)

Safeties of McCourty/Chung/Harmon (Top 10 in the league)

Cornerbacks of Butler/Decent FA signing/Ryan (Who knows but Butler is doing great)

Thats a top of the league defense.

Bet this: the last week we will once again be 1pm, with Denver late game.

Not that it made any difference today....

Playing like they have since thanksgiving that's a 7-9 schedule....

Riiigggghhhtttt...

Because next year we can expect them to lose their LT, RB and best interior pass rusher to IR, and lose their best receiving options and best defenders for certain amount of time.

I dont expect you to realize that though, after all your soooo preoccupied with your lil Planet fitness workouts over there..

If Denver had already won their division, Pats/Dolphins would have been at 425. Since Denver had to play no matter what there was no need for Pats to move to 425.

I've got a wish list of things I'd like to really make the 2016 team stacked. Biggest thing is we need the big 2nd year leaps with the interior linemen (Mason, Jackson, Andrews) and Stork to get completely healthy. Probably might help to sign a vet as insurance in case it doesn't happen for a few of those guys (Wendell? Dare I say Mankins if he is a cap casualty and they can put the past behind them?).

Road: BUF, NYJ, MIA, PIT, CLE, DEN, ARI, SF
That was nice of them to schedule 2 road games that coincide with the sites where we won Super Bowls 49 and 50. :D:D:D We can take some trips down memory lane.

Now a healthy pats team, like the one until lewis got hurt it looks like 11-5 or 12-4

That looks tough right now. Might not be as tough as it seems once next year rolls around tho.... But right now, looks kinda brutal to me.

Yeah because the team we have seen the last several weeks is the exact one They will field in 2016.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that your confidence in this team and its coaching staff/ personnel dept/ownership is nowhere near as inflated as your arms and lats...
sorry, but a team that converts 30% on third down (as the Pats have since Edelman got hurt) and gives up 350 yards to guys like Ryan Tannehill, is going to have a hard time winning in this league.

We all hope this gets better for the playoffs and next season, but lets not forget the 3 main offensive weapons this season - Lewis, Edelman, and Gronkowski all have considerable injury histories so we shouldn't be surprised if one, two, or all three are out at some point in the coming seasons.

hope next time we see seattle is at foxb

It WILL be at Foxboro. It's a rotating schedule. Last time we played the NFCW, we went to Seattle and Rams (London), and played AZ and SF at home. Next year, we'll be playing SEA & STL @ home, and SF/AZ on the road.

Tough schedule.

On the bright side we get SEA at home. Much better than the other way around.

Lets see if this really is as bad as it looks.

NFC W: Patriots wins atleast 2, probably 3. Getting Hawks and Rams home - 49ers and Cards away. Traveling is the key. 49ers rebuilds and Rams with or without a QB, should be a W. Hawks is a home game. Cardinals away is very tough.

AFC N: Patriots wins atleast 2, probably 3+. Ravens and Bengals home - Steelers and Browns away.
Patriots have a good feeling for both Steelers and Bengals. Ravens is always a tide game and Browns is well Browns

Broncos at Mine High is tough place. Texans with BoB comes "home". Looks like the Broncos game once again could be a key game for seeding. Texans at home should be a win, even if they get a QB. Atleast 1-1, but hopes are 2-0

AFC E: Patriots wins 4-5 games vs AFC E more offen then not.

Even with, what looks like a tough schedule, Patriots should win 10 again next year, but I think Patriots ends up with 12-4 or 13-3. All bets are off if Brady is.... Not Brady

It doesn't seem right that we have to go to Mile High again. You know the league/elway made sure of that.

Seattle at home for the season opening Thursday night game would be nice.

The league doesn't decide who plays who or where. It only controls when.

And as I've noted elsewhere here, it's because the NFL refuses to change the scheduling formula, so the AFC and NFC East are always on this three home, three away schedule for the 1 v. 1 games.
