OT: Deadspin releases photos of Greg Hardy's victim

Life is so much less toxic by placing Pimpmaster Flex on Ignore, IMO. ;)

He is not in jail because the victim took a cash payment in lieu of testifying against him. I'm not going to judge her--the money is certainly more useful to her than him sitting in jail. But if you want to blame someone for his freedom, she is the logical choice.
And if you want to blame someone for him for playing in the NFL blame Jerry Jones.

I enjoy how he disliked your post. It fits in with his theme of knowing exactly how everyone should feel, think, and do.

Afraid of what? What happened to her was awful but she had a chance to stand up for every victim of domestic abuse but instead let this walk free

So she should not be afraid of Hardy? Is that your position?

Yeah, me too. :)

He's got a point there. Hardy's only a rich and famous athlete with a demonstrated history of domestic violence and a love of guns. Where's the threat?

No, he had already been convicted and received no jail time. That wasn't going to change.

Are you sure about this? This wasn't a typical appeal. I believe he was seeking a de novo trial by jury. I would think sentencing would be de novo as well, although I really have no idea.

The DA has an extraordinarily difficult case without witnesses against top legal counsel. The State has to pick its battles, and, with no witnesses, this was not a winner. So, it has nothing to do with intestinal fortitude, it has to do with limited resources.

And, no, people should not be precluded from earning a living because they committed a crime. Do you really think that makes sense? Even when convicted, they should be eligible to rejoin the workforce after paying their debt to society. He wasn't even convicted.
So the NC legal system is off the hook because of lack of resources?

I don't agree.

I'm not saying anyone here is stupid, but it's obvious that some people just have really bad luck when they talk/type.

Your just an idiot giving her excuses. I rather go through a second trail then have this pos buy me
Really? So you would throw away $1 million so that you could go to trial and watch the guy get 18 months probation?

It's over and done with. She got payed and the sob got away with it. He likely will get an extension. Smh

You've been very assertive in this thread. I asked you a question. Man up and answer it:

Would you throw away $1 million for the chance where the best case scenario is 18 months probation for the offender?

We don't know that. I am sure the prosecution was trying to get evidence against this pos. Money talks but i wouldn't take it. That's just me.

Yes we do know that. That was his sentence from the bench trial and his most severe punishment realistically possible - with an acquittal also a possibility.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure you wouldn't.

I so wish these pictures went up on the Jumbotron at Jerry World

Seriously.
