And what if they want a 4th and Logan Ryan for JMac?

Idk about that. Hard to find pass rushers and chandler's getting better

Jones is having a very good year, but he hasn't played at this level consistently. I am more than comfortable with Sheard taking over if Jones is to leave.

Players like Collins don't grow on trees. The guy is an absolute freak.

I think we are sending Mayo! Don't quote me, but I just had a feeling. These feelings are mostly on point. Last time I had this feeling was on Seymour.

Mayo's definitely in his last season with the Pats, one way or another. Moving on from him wouldn't surprise me at all from the Pats' perspective, though it would surprise me a bit if someone was willing to give up any kind of an asset for him.

My choice would be hightower and chandler. I like collins but they can start drafting a LB soon.

Collins isn't going anywhere, as long as his contract requests/demands are reasonable.

Nobody wants Mayo. He's useless at this point.

Yeah, if we're picking 2 out of the 3, letting Jones walk was the borderline no-brainer before this season. If he keeps up this pace, on one hand it makes it hard to let him go, OTOH it might lead to him making 50+% more than either of the other two. Either way, I think Collins and Hightower are both going to stay here long-term, and Jones' future is the only one that's up in the air.

Thank u!!! That's my point. Listen collins' s a freak of nature but how many times has bill tried to find a pass rusher?

Mayo played college ball in Tennessee. It would be an emotional loss for our team I think. He's very respected in the locker room and community.

Lesser asset making peanuts vs. much better asset making market value = I'd make the trade, but demand that the pick be lower than a 4th. If they want a replacement CB on a rookie contract, they'd have to accept a lesser pick along with it.

@PatsFans: According to 98.5 it appears Jason McCourty is coming to New England via a trade. He'll join his brother Devin in the Pats' secondary.

Ian putting himself out there. This Felger/Mazz disciple better be right...
Putting squeaky and the douche in a tough spot. They aren't sure whether to say JMac sucks (if he comes here) or if he's awesome (if he doesn't).

This is starting to get exciting. As far as next year's cap goes, not only is the number expect to go up significantly, we will have about 12M coming off the dead money books. Also next year both McCourty boys will be able to restructure in order to keep them both AND sign the big 3.

But I'm OK if he winds up being an 8 game rental. The need is that great.

Has collins maded a bigger impact then chandler this year?

How many times has he tried to find a versatile, do-everything LB? All three are incredible assets, if one has to walk I think it's Jones. Hightower is the one I'm most certain will stay, since I think he'll command the least in FA. I'd be really surprised if Collins left either.

Mayo needs a new start somewhere. I had assumed we were moving Tavon Wilson as well (from all the Safety try outs). Both players need a new team to jump start their careers. [Conditional picks in return would be fine but part of a player trade is better.]
