Just give me a corner Bill. Thats all I want. It can be some guy Ive never even heard of I don't care, just do something that shows your addressing the problem.

Smartish. They have it all pushed back until after Manning's contract is up. So if they want to remain competitive after that, they'd better hope Osweiler's really good.

If the cut Manning before 2016 they'll only have $2m in dead money. Accurate?

Bill said the phone lines are open. He's happy to do a deal. Teams can't wait to call Bill and have him convert their trash to ProBowlers.

Manning looks ok (he didnt even throw a td and still had an interception) in his first game of the season...and the broncos trade for a te who has done nothing and the board cowers in fear like we have no chance

Have some confidence in your team guys

Calm down.

You can have confidence in your team and at the same time admire the Broncos trade for a still decent TE who is an excellent blocker (which helps their shaky LT situation) by giving up only a 6th rounder in 2017.

No one is "cowering".

That sounds right to me. It was part of that re-structure with the playoff incentives (which will end up just being a pay cut)

I'm not ****ting on it, but I'm not playing it up to be some super trade either. They upgrade at TE, but hes not going to give us problems like Julius Thomas gave us problems

People need to stop the Fantasy Football mindset.

This acquisition helps them even more on the edges of their OL (although that won't show up on the FanDuel stat sheet.)

Right. Getting out from under that deal with only $2m charge ain't bad.

Care to explain?

He's not nearly the blocker he used to be. Is he better than Owen Daniels? Maybe, but Virgil Green's still the best blocking TE on that team by a lot.

davis changes nothing........owen daniels is a more dependable route runner

  1. The board is not cowering in fear. People are acknowledging a good trade and noting its possible impact upon the Broncos offense. Huge difference
  2. This is not a cheerleading convention. It's a sports forum.

I just saw that. Considering they just traded the one guy who could help out Blaine Gabbert, methinks the 49ers are in full-on tank mode.

Who is cowering? People can acknowledge it was a good move at low cost. That is does make Denver a little bit better.

I am confident, still don't think Pats lose to Denver at all.

good trade for denver. we'll still beat em tho
