So I'm the lazy one because I don't want to find evidence of a statement you made, that even if true, would be recognized as absurd by the overwhelming majority of posters on this board? Sounds like a really good use of my time.

Yes. Because I didn't make the statement saying that Vollmer was better than Solder. OTHERS did on this board. And you wanted to know where it was said. I told you. If that wasn't good enough for you, that's on YOU, not me.

I have no reason to make this up, Jack. Why you would think otherwise is baffling.. Especially since I don't have a history of lying/making shyte up.

For those of us outside the New England area, What did Koppen say about Jones?

That he's easy to replace then hightower and collins. I think all can't be replace

Sorry if I missed this from a previous page but I was working tonight and unable to see the game. Did Dobson do anything?

No. But then, I don't remember the Patriots running many (if any) 4 WR sets because they had Lewis in there..

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you're lying. Frankly, you're right: I just don't care enough to go digging. Since we agree on Solder vs. Vollmer at LT we can just toast to that.

My absolute favorite series of the night for the D came after that uncharacteristic special teams error with the big Dolphin return. The D aggressively made them move backwards in one of the most dominating 3 and outs I have ever seen. It was awesome. The tam may make a mistake here and there but they sure as heck aren't going to give you a chance to build on it.

What "special teams" error was there? The only thing I saw was Ebner taking a shot to the back that sent him flying out of his lane and allowed Landry to get upfield..

Umm.. The Giants should have JPP back by the time the Pats play them. Could make a world of difference.

Their best and only pass rusher will be an amputee.

Allowing a return into their territory. Not so much an error per se, if Ebner took an illegal shot, but a bad play.

Patriots are now -120 to win the AFC. That is insane. Their over under win total is now at 14.5. That is also insane.

Interesting. I agree the Pats are the class of the AFC but to me the AFC in general seems stronger than last year. Last year it was the Ravens & Pats then everyone else.

This year I you have more quality teams going in.

The giants are targetting the pats game for JPP's return. he will be rusty and it will take him a while to get used to playing with a missing finger. also i think he can be neutralized with a double team.

any updates, observations on how tre jackson looked in locker room after game?

Man, Dion Lewis is what comes out if Danny Woodhead and Kevin Faulk have a baby. He's easily the best back this team has had since 2004 Dillon, and I loved both Woodhead and Faulk.

Blount is a nice complementary back but, despite his size, he's really not great in short yardage. He takes too long to get going, and tiptoes through holes. Once he's through a hole, though, and he hits the next gear he's really tough to stop.
Blount problem is he needs a good OL to be effective. Since his shiftiness isn't that if Lewis he needs the line to make more plays instead of creating them from nothing. That isn't a discredit on him. It's just the nature of someone his size. Once our OL gets healthy and more stable, Blount will become more effective.

B.....B.....B.....But this was from the cowboys game!!!!!

Hard not to be highly impressed with this team. And that;s saying something considering how many impressive teams we have all seen in Foxboro.

As far as going undefeated ... looking at the remaining schedule, I would be more surprised that they lost a game than if they didn't.
