If Peyton throws a few ints in his own end it could push it to the 30s for sure.

Have you seen any of his games? Just curious.

Against the Browns he looked horrible. Couldn't get the ball outside the numbers and when he tried the ball literally floated giving the defense too much time to react to it. (They are ranked 31st in yards after catch btw). He still has the ability to be accurate and to read a defense but I think the Browns crowded the middle of the field and forced him to make the outside throws. IMO

On top of that his OL is not what it was last year and he has less time to find an open receiver.

Anyways they are the worst of the undefeated teams and I think they are about to get exposed.

I predict more talks of replacing Peyton to continue come Monday. :)

Oh I know how bad he has been and fully expect him to throw INTs. That is why I said "on his own end".

3 Ints in GB territory and his D might be able to keep that at 3-6 points.

3 Ints deep in Denver territory and now you are talking 14 or more very possibly.

That is what I am talking about. Assuming half and half... call it 10 points.

Man, Dion Lewis is what comes out if Danny Woodhead and Kevin Faulk have a baby. He's easily the best back this team has had since 2004 Dillon, and I loved both Woodhead and Faulk.

Blount is a nice complementary back but, despite his size, he's really not great in short yardage. He takes too long to get going, and tiptoes through holes. Once he's through a hole, though, and he hits the next gear he's really tough to stop.

I don't think anyone has said that Vollmer is a better LT than Solder.

@JackBauer - The past two weeks there have been numerous posts claiming that Vollmer is better than Solder at LT. Both in the game thread and in the threads about the Pats needing another OT on the roster.

That would only be icing on the cake for me.

I suppose it should "icing" instead of cake there, but you get the idea.

I remember reading that he can't feel his fingers after that neck surgery. I think that has affected him

Where?

I told you where to look, Jack. If you can't be bothered to go look it up on this board, then there is no use continuing the discussion.

As I thought.

IMO the 3 hardest games are still on the Schedule

@giants @Jets @Denver

Pats offense on the road is not as good cause it is so communication dependent.

I think they can but it will be tough. I don't pick them to lose any one game at this point. I do think @Jets will be the hardest @giants 2nd hardest and @Denver 3rd.

People said the Pats offense would have communication issues in Dallas.. The Pats put up 30 points there.

The Bills fans made communications tough with how loud they got, yet the Pats offense still put up 40 there despite 3 false start penalties..

Communication on away games is not something I'm going to worry about with this team. I'm more worried about the composition of the O-line, particularly with the shot that Jackson took to his knee.

As I thought.
As you thought? No. You didn't think. That's the problem. If you had, you'd have gotten off your lazy arse and gone and looked. Go look in the last two game threads. Go look in the thread about needing another OT. I told you exactly where to look. You're just too frickin lazy to do it.

What you forgot Curtis Martin? He could make something out of nothing too.

Has any kicker ever held both the most consecutive PATs and FGs at the same time? Ghost is money.
And just think, there were people during the off-season saying that the Patriots should cut him for being too expensive.... o_O

@MikeReiss: One would have thought matchup on interior -- Kline/Andrews/Jackson vs. Suh/Mitchell etc. -- favored Dolphins. But young Patriots OL rise up

Kline's improved to the point that he looks like our LG of the future. What an improvement from him this year.

True, but that was a distinked minority. Most fans appreciate the greatness of the Ghost.

LOL

Denver will be one of the easiest games of the season. They have no offense. Probably the worst offensive unit we'll play all year. That game will be a blow out.

Giants have no defense, and no pass rush in particular.

Umm.. The Giants should have JPP back by the time the Pats play them. Could make a world of difference.

Be careful rooting for a team to make the playoffs. David Carr is a gamer.

Pretty sure you mean DEREK Carr.. David Carr was Derek's older Brother.

So I'm the lazy one because I don't want to find evidence of a statement you made, that even if true, would be recognized as absurd by the overwhelming majority of posters on this board? Sounds like a really good use of my time.

I don't like what koppen said about jones.
Chandler has been a beast and i am one of his biggest critics. Need him to keep putting the pressure on QBs

For those of us outside the New England area, What did Koppen say about Jones?
