I hear you. But there is a difference between something like that and people who just go in there and yell how much the team sucks any time they make one bad play or two. My nerves were waaay too bad for me to in the SB thread . . . I could barely sit down the whole time. But I remember thinking the same thing about the timeout, personally, and likely would have posted something about it. Commentary and just baseless stupid posts about how the team or an individual player or coach are two different things. There is room for one in the game day thread and not the other. LOLI read through the Super Bowl thread. It was amazingly funny in a hindsight 20/20 way. But you could just feel the tension through those posts.
"TIME OUT" CALL A TIME OUT
Yup. I envision a scenario where they are both handed separate index cards. One reads "Pro" and the other "Con" and the producer yells, "Go!"At the end of the day, I don't think any of these asshats really believe what they are saying anymore. The same can be said for commentators on Fox and/or MSNBC too. The days of journalistic integrity are long gone, save for a few here and there, the lot of them are money-grubbing scum and would sell out their own mothers if they had to.

*3 and out on first drive*
"F*** bill! Should've drafted player X like I said! dynasty is ovah!"
Agreed. Its just as easy to not click on a thread as it is to not clink on an BSPN link. I personally like to see the BS, because I love to refute the "stories" I hear from people who buy into it. It's good to know your facts before the attack. But that's just me.So you want to forfeit and let them slander and libel the Patriots freely?
Others of us won't let that happen.
2 weeks ago, our speaking up got their **** outed and forced an apology. Was it at 12:20am? Yes. But they HAD to do it for a reason - - they were getting publicly reamed for it. They don't issue apologies on air unless they had been feeling some pain from it.
ESPN should be hit hard whenever they pull this crap. If it hurts your feelings to confront it, just don't click on the thread.
The truth is the truth.
