You and your buddies were happy to see the Patriots dragged through the mud during the off-season. Now your precious regular season is approaching and you want it to disappear. Sucks for you but it's not happening that way. The integrity of your league will be dragged through the courts for all to see whether you want it gone or not.
heh..brutal, Waxy
I want bad things to be done to the league as well as to every other team in the league. Next time the league office screws over some other team, I won't know how to think about it. Guess it depends on the team. I will be rooting for them BOTH to lose and look ridiculous in the process. It's sad that I've come to this, but seeing injury done to "The Shield"®* would provide my only real satisfaction now.
hmmmm...perhaps...BUT!....
Assuming Berman rules against the NFL, can he, in addition to writing an appeal proof decision, add editorial comments lambasting the NFL for railroading Brady? Or is that not done by Federal Judges?
Mara is just scared that the lid might get ripped off this whole conspiracy and authorities start looking into Goodell and his underlings FIXING the outcomes of Super Bowls since 2007. I'd love to see Mike Carey under oath in federal court...
"Mr Carey...were you instructed to NOT call any penalties on the Giants last offensive drive...if so, who instructed you?"

Giants' co-owner John Mara has respectfully declined to participate in settlement discussions between Tom Brady and NFL, per @mortreport.
They think he's located in NY and it'd be close . NJ is close, but it's not NY.Why would he participate anyway?
That's why he pays the commissioner.
It doesn't make any sense.Maybe Mara was asked to participate since he was closely involved in the levying of the original punishment. owners didn't pressure Goodell tho

Goodell is so screwed. Even his base won't help him.Why would he participate anyway?
That's why he pays the commissioner.

The league did not want Mara to participate because they consider it a commissioner-only matter, aside from obvious competitive conflict
Strange. Frist they say he declined , now they say league didnt wnt him to.
