Florio: Some owners want DeflateGate to end, others want to push for a win over the NFLPA

I 95% agree. I don't think this is just accurate vagueness or a reporting error; I think Florio got his facts right.

The 5% is that Mara could have changed his mind, and if he did, we don't know exactly when he did.

I think there's a better chance that an NFL Owner would lie, before he actually thought about something enough and critically enough to change his mind on it.

YMMV.

To pay for the open bar and the stripper bus at the annual Christmas party.
Lol. I can envision Ted Wells going nuts and walking in with escort girls....

I swear 90% of these owners are self-absorbed aholes who simply are only paying attention to their bank accounts. They are clueless trust fund babies who's only knowledge and perspective of the situation comes from Goody and his legion of propaganda artist hacks.

The owners are dreaming. There are still the suits I expect from Jastremski and McNally against the Patriots and the NFL filed in a Massachusetts court. Their names have been dragged through the mud and they have suffered loss.
Those poor guys. I hope they get their just deserts and sue the NFL, NOT the Pats.

Just keep in mind who Mara and Rooney are. They were the ones that told Goodell to destroy the tapes that would have shown that taping was wide spread not isolated to the Pats. They were also the ones that supervised the whitewash of Goodell in the Rice fiasco. Obviously, the duped owner of the Pats was also out front lending verbal support to his good buddy in his time of need.

Hey Mara, help make it go away.

Marshall a majority of the owners to have the NFL* League office open their books and let us see their notes. Or have your fabulist (that's right we're going high level SAT words) come out and just give his version of nevermind, but make sure to have them give the full truth, not their version.

Mara didn't change his mind. The money changed direction.

On what grounds can McNally and Jastremski sue the patriots?

Wrongful termination? Good luck - welcome to the unionless paradise every one of you republican ****suckers jerks yourself off to - Mass is an At-Will state. Talking **** about Brady is as valid a reason to **** can them as anything.

Sorry, I didn't realize he mentioned "Sue the Patriots" I thought he meant the just the NFL. I read it too quickly.

He was one of the few owners who actually publicly supported Goodell after he issued his appeal ruling.

The default position would be to support the commissioner you hired. He should have twenty or more owners pledging support. How many does he have?

What's implied in Mara's statement is really funny to me, btw.

"INTEGRITY OF THE LEAGUE IS PARAMOUNT but eh, the moment it starts taking away focus from the game I guess it isn't that big of a deal."

Exactly. It's aggravating to hear people say that "both sides" are acting like children, and "both sides" are wasting everyone's time with this

Here's a newsflash: Tom Brady never asked for any of this to happen. It's 100% goodell and his jets loving front office
