Its the 11th hour of this entire deflategate fiasco and there is still yet hope that there might yet be vindication. After 3 months of absolute crap since the Wells Report dropped the tide has finally shifted in the national media regarding everything. Back in May where it seemed like everything was ruined there is now room for optimism.

At the same time we are witnessing the NFL act in perhaps the most openly and shockingly corrupt manner I have ever seen a multi billion dollar company act. And yes, that includes Oil conglomerates, banking institutions, multinational corporations and the like because they are usually much better at hiding their evil from the public eye. Whether its through sheer incompetence or arrogance the NFL is being plainly open about how its acting. Its of course why so many national media people are now turning to Brady's side. But here's the scary part, none of it might matter. The NFL, and Goodell, might get away with this scott free because of the possibility that a judge rules in their favor because of a shockingly godawful CBA.

For me, I think its safe to say that I am staking my final bit of interest in the sport on the results of this case. If the suspension is vacated then I can breath easily for the first time in months. If it's not, I honestly think I'm done with the game. I don't even know if I would be able to stomach watching any game again, even with Brady and Belichick still in the game, if this sort of blatant corruption is allowed to win.

No way, man! I want to keep fighting this until Goodell is fired!

I would turn in my cable box. I have been thinking about doing that already.

If Goody and the Jests stay in power then I'm done with the NFL when Brady leaves. It's obvious that they're trying to influence the outcome of games. That's about as bad as it gets in sports.

I've regretfully accepted the fact that the fix was in since:

1) They chose to allow this ridiculousness to overshadow their main event/biggest sports event in the world with SB49

2) Pash's name was listed as co-investigator on their initial report, proving that it would be far from "independent."

3) They changed from their original choice of Columbia University to do the scientific study

4) They changed forensic analysis teams to Exponent, which also was not their original choice

5) They failed to reduce the suspension by even a single game, when most of the other suspensions are often reduced. Some are even reduced by 50% or more

AND FINALLY
:

6) They came hard at the NFL's golden boy with the "phone destruction" nonsense, solidifying their position and making sure that the entire world sided with them

I'll stay with Football until Brady and Belichick retire. After that I will definitely consider not watching the NFL anymore. How can I continue to watch such a corrupt organization that has lied so much to try and bring down an innocent man?

I'll always have my 3 games to glory DVDs/Blu-Ray and I'll continue to watch the great Brady/Belichick era games to relive the glory days and be amazed I was able to witness the GOAT QB and Coach of all time. And to witness the success very few franchises in any sport was able to achieve while blocking out the BS.

If the NFL succeeds then I will hope and pray Mark Cuban's prediction comes true of an implosion of the NFL. I will wither day after day just waiting for that day to come and then watch the NFL crumble in all it's glory.

Hope springs eternal, right?

After 3 months of absolute crap since the Wells Report dropped the tide has finally shifted in the national media regarding everything.

3 months? How about almost 7 months? The reality is that this is now "the tide has finally shifted" part SEVEN.

We've seen the early days in January when Troy Vincent promised a decision within days, and Belichick "killed it in his presser...even stating movie quotes and scientific evidence." February, when David Letterman told the world that it was no big deal on national TV. Sharks of Vegas, etc, etc. Weekly articles by the Washington Post claiming that there was no way they'd find the Pats guilty.

March, when the rumors came out that everyone else BUT the Patriots would be punished, with rumors of high level execs and referees being the focus of the investigation. April, when people thought that there was a possibility of getting a mid-high round NYJ draft pick, and the decision surely would happen due to the draft coming at the end of the month (even though we all watched a prior ruling punishing ATL for the next draft).

May brought the decision finally, with the idea that Bob Kraft would go all "scorched earth" on the rest of the league. June was the appeal, where Brady scored an "A+" on his testimony, and he must have "really meant it" since he spoke under oath. July brought us the appeal decision, as people here actually wanted it to stay the same so we could finally take it to federal court.

August--"The tide is turning part 7." :) Coming soon to a theater near you!

ill watch the pats regardless...with the television muted!
no espn/nfl network though. for media stuff, i'll just read mike reiss.

No and I've never blocked anyone before. You might be the 1st.

I'm already done. It went too far before this ever hit the courts. That fans are willing to tolerate this kind of nonsense from an allegedly professional sport is troublesome.

That is what's so troubling--the power that the NFL has.

Should've been around back in the day. Obviously not a real fan.

ill just enjoy the last few years of brady's career then not give a **** to be honest.
this whole thing has been ridiculous.

I don't count any of the months before the Wells report because we were all under a delusion regarding how things were going. It wasn't until May that we found out the truth, that we were being f.ucked.

For me, football is bigger than the commissioner. Goodell can sh!t on a lot of things, but he isn't going to make me stop loving my Pats.

In all reality, that is pretty close to what he wants.... demoralizing the best teams in the league and their fans for the sake of parity.

The whole thing has been disgusting, and to be honest--even though I would never stop supporting the team under any circumstances, I can respect your personal decision if you think you've had enough. It's supposed to be an enjoyable distraction from real life problems, a way to relax and enjoy some quality entertainment. Being a fan isn't supposed to be a major headache, unless you're a JAX fan. This whole thing has been ********.
