Belichick's presser was concise, on point and should have been effective had this not been witch hunt by the league office.over the course of deflategate, anyone involved who has opened their mouth publicly has sounded stupid

As much as we all agree, this is the system agreed upon and what might stymie Brady's appeal, sometimes court do not want to get involved in negotiated and agreed upon rules and procedures..
It does violate due process, but the NFLPA agreed to this violation..
People keep saying Kraft should have sued the league or goodell, but no one says what the grounds and damages would have been.
If you think he should have sued, say what for.
An entire strawman thread.
Can someone point out to me who the people are that think Kraft should have sued? What site do they post on?
Kraft should have appealed. The team is innocent. He has a wealth of evidence.
He chose to 'end the rhetoric'.
Tom Brady being judged a cheater and the Patriots losing a 1st and a 4th round pick is not rhetoric to me, it is something worthy of fighting for.
...or he could've waited and hitched a ride with BB and Brady to the HOF and football immortality.Well, he could have had the ass clown carpool pick him up around the corner rather than in front of the entire sports world. He was getting in that car eventually because they have a shared destination.
.
But goodell has violated that agreement. The owners agreed to have him do whatever he wants and they are part of the league, not a separate body representing players interests.
Then don't read. Certainly don't respond, if you are tired of hearing my opinion, don't respond to my posts, which will result in me restating my opinion.oh jeezus ..... you keep making the same point over and over and over and over again.......people get your point.......you don't need to keep repeating it..........you are, after all entitled to your own opinion, however, it is no more accurate than anyone else's
Then don't read. Certainly don't respond, if you are tired of hearing my opinion, don't respond to my posts, which will result in me restating my opinion.
So you are going to go the childish route? Nice.there's some humor in it.........you're like a toy that does the same thing every time you wind it up
So you are going to go the childish route? Nice.
Explain why when I argue strongly about one side and do not change my opinion based on yours and you argue strongly on the other and don't change your opinion, I am acting any differently that you?
That arrogance is a major flaw in your activity on this board.
By making childish jokes?my opinion is different than yours........deal with it
I've never said that.you're the one who start with the notion that somebody doesn't know what the **** they're talking about if it doesn't line up with your belief.
Tom Brady cares about his legacy. My argument is not whether I care about his legacy.......we're talking about a bunch of rich people.......being on the football field is all that matter with me....I could give 2 ****s about legacy......people who sit here and rail about legacy need to find something more meaningful in their lives
By making childish jokes?
I've never said that.
Tom Brady cares about his legacy. My argument is not whether I care about his legacy.
The question at hand (mostly in the other thread that you decided to migrate over to here) was whether Brady (and BB) may leave because of Kraft.
Honestly, your feelings about legacy and that you don't care because they are rich, etc are not really part of that discussion.
If your point is it isn't worth discussing, then say so. But if your point is Brady shouldn't care because you dont there are 1000 things wrong with that line of argument.
No, you turned an reasonable disagreement into a childish attempt at insult, and I wont stoop to that level.LOL......you're such a victim
Not even close. Nothing you said changed my opinion. That just means your argument is not persuasive to me. At no point did I say you don't know what you are talking about. I explained why I disagree with your opinion. I never said you can't be right, just that I don't believe you are. Note: that sums up about every disagreement that has ever existed, but for some reason you want to make this one 'special'.not in so many words, but yeah....that's what you said
How could you possibly know that? You just made it up, there is zero evidence behind that claim.brady cares about playing football and winning.......legacy? he doesn't have to think about it because he's got this part of the country in the palm of his hand.....the rest really doesn't matter
No, you turned an reasonable disagreement into a childish attempt at insult, and I wont stoop to that level.

The fact that he is fighting and has been reported to be unwilling to accept anythign that would look like an admission of guilt says the opposite.
I for one, do care about legacy because for a long time I have and always will root for the Patriots long after BB and Brady retire. Their legacy is a part of the Patriot's organization's identity the same way that Tom Landry is for the Cowboys, Montana is for the 49ers, and Terry Bradshaw is for the Steelers. No matter how hard I root against them I will always have respect for what they did and how they represented their respective teams. That is because of legacy. I could go on how legacy transcends football and plays a major role in how we live our lives, of which I consider mine to be very meaningful to my family and friends. But of course, that's just my opinion...my opinion is different than yours........deal with it
