Sad thing is he called himself a lifelong Patriots fan. Doesn't he realize that every lifelong Patriots fan who still show up to games will be booing him now, that he's completely alienated his entire fanbase?

Capitulating on cameraplacementgate was one thing, there was at least a 'smoking gun' and a clear violation there. Caving on this one is spineless and pathetic, and Kraft has officially abandoned his fanbase to appease billionaires and the establishment.

What happened? Kraft was told it is a very very high mountain to climb to win this. He then said 'the business side of this is more important than the players or fans' (and, possibly, the league will reduce the penalty in some backroom compromise -- though I have my doubts).

Our best and lone chance chance is Brady. And if Brady comes away with a sterling win, Kraft is going to look even worse for taking it dry only to be told he never had to take it at all. ((side note to kraft: why not say 'we are suspending any fight with the league pending the case for our QB that we fully support. In the meantime we are back to the business of football with our other 31 partner teams? That takes care of the business side and leaves open the chance for justice when the tides may shift in the Patriots favor).

This is the first time PFW in progress truly shows who signs their checks. I thought they were truly independent thinkers but today appear like total shills for Kraft. They can't understand why the fans are pissed off.

This was becoming a real possibility from the moment they chucked their entire defense onto the internet, even greater when guys like Reiss were predicting Kraft would fold. Sad, disgusting, but not that surprising. The Patriots keep the status quo, as usual.

His collectivist "what's good for 32 teams" argument is, of course, crap, since allowing the precedent of this punishment to stand does nothing but harm all teams in the future, just like the bounty mess. Of course, sticking up for what's right doesn't help the $$$$$$

I think it's even worse than that. I think that Kraft caved only because he was more worried about his bottom line than he was about protecting his team, his coach and his players.

Cannot belive some of the responses. This team was a laughing stock for years and had Kraft not stepped in to buy the team there may not be a team. This team has been competitive for years and has 4 SB rings and people will boo him?
