I wish this would've been buried long ago, but now I'm pi$$ed and want to see Goodell and all those haters with egg on their face when it is all said and done.

Wonder if the rate of strokes will spike among Harriot's? :D

Yeah, but there ain't much going on either. Hard to think about the season without thinking about the fact that Brady currently won't be there.

Yes ......................

Did rookie minicamp start yet? If so, any news on how they're doing?

I believe they were in the field house last Friday ...
My sons soccer was pushed back an hour last Friday and there was heavy security ...
As in no peeking in the doors or even getting close to them .........

As long as this team continues to be so successful, the Patriots will always be in the spotlight somehow....sad but true

Normal Pats talk? This time of year, this place would be as dead as Robin Williams without this scandal.

And guess what. . . . all indications suggest that 2016 might be somewhat quiet, but 2017, unless things change between now and then, will be the "Summer of 12 v. 10."

Absoulutely, can't wait for our 1st preseason game!!!!!!!!!!!

Absoulutely, can't wait for our 1st preseason game!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't the Pats already forfeit it?

I'll have to check. It's hard keeping up with all of the penalties that were handed down.

but on the bright side, we're not talking about the secondary
Exactly. Folks would much rather discuss law suits than football.

It is May. I don't think there would be much otherwise.

May is the time to discuss the offseason and how the new players might fit it. It is time to discuss our binkies. It is time to discuss minicamps. It is a time to discuss the free agents that we sign or might sign after the draft. There actually have been additions in the past week or two.

Let's be clear. For some, almost nothing matter but playoff games and the Super Bowl. They enjoy all the venting. After all, this way they can vent against more than things that have to do with New York. Their horizons have been expanded.

Personally, I am expecting things to quiet down on this front once reality sets in and it's not as fresh. We all realize that this is going to be a long, legal battle that will take the entire summer.

When that happens, we'll slowly return to discussing real football talk. Hopefully, that can happen within the next week or two on some level where we gradually increase our football related discussions.

Like what we normally discuss this time of year. The actual team and not having to talk about rulings, lawsuits, and worrying about our teamy being defamed?

I'm missing the normal, boring, dry time offseason. Never thought I'd say that.

I'm in 4th heaven. This would normally be the time of year that I'd be wishing we had something substantial to talk about. Oh wait, we do.

So, can you think of any play in any game ever that was as big and as great as Butler's? It was an amazing play and in all of my 50 years of watching football I can't think of one even as good, let alone better. And it came with under 20 seconds left on a 2nd and goal play from the 1 in a 4 point game. Incredible!
