Curran: ‘Outstanding chance' you’ll see Brady on Week 1

I'd be thrilled if reduced to 0, but am I the only one more concerned with the loss of another first round pick? Worst case, Brady misses two games.... But that lost draft pick could be a star suspended for an entire career.

They have to get that back

Really, it was the draft picks (and the insulting language that said it had to be the hightest pick they held) that was the thing that was really over the top. Suspending Tom was stupid, and wrong, and unfairly besmirched his character, but in terms of the team, it doesn't do all that much damage. The team is in the position to weather a 4 game suspension if they had to, just as they could weather a 4 game injury. But the draft picks injure the team for years to come. Which, of course, was the intention.

In the scheme of things the balls being below spec have very little impact on how a TEAM performs......
The TEAM coach and TEAM owner were exonerated in the Well's report.

Punishment went WAY over the top for the TEAM.

Brady was the target...you don't punish the TEAM for a possible, maybe, generally aware of infraction by the QB.

JMHO

@Edwerderespn: Tom Brady, 2011 WEEI interview: “When Gronk scores, he spikes the ball and deflates the ball. I love that, b/c I like the deflated ball.''

@Edwerderespn: @Unclerico778 Patriot lawyer claimed no evidence Brady prefers deflated ball. Seems maybe there is

Hey ed go back to digging through jerry jones' trash.

Oh boy Ed, you managed to prove that Tom Brady had a preference for a lower pressure football, 3 years before he had any idea what the rules were! He must've gone back in time for that interview, just like McNally time traveled from January 2015 to May 2014 so he could call himself the "deflator" one time.

Yes, Brady is going to openly admit to deflating balls.

Like Ted Wells, many people do not understand what a joke is. Donald Trump tried to sue Bill Maher (a comedian who's career is based off of Comedy) for saying his father is an Orangutan.

Comedy is completely lost for some people.

Is it an outstanding chance or more probable than not? I mean they've basically the same thing remember.. ;)

This is going go draaaaaag. I don't want it too...but if will.

LOL let this drag out all season long

Brady can serve his 1-game suspension on the last day of the regular season when we're resting for the playoffs.

lol rule against him? Really? That's a laugher.

Well since Goodell appointed himself as a arbitrator there is a good chace nothing will be overturned. Brady can then try to pursue a defamation suit but that is almost impossible to prove in court.

Brady could have the suspension reduced to 1 game, and have that 1 game be in December or January, after the court decision is reached.

Haha scary.. long appeal process, suspension reduced to 1 game.. which conveniently aligns with the AFCCG against the Colts

Yes I am much more concerned with these picks.

after 15 yrs are there really still people who bet against brady?

What happens if Brady is playing because he is appealing then when the decesion comes down they rule against him? Isn't it's better to miss games at the start of the season rather toward the end and the playoffs?

no...i'd say the more time to prep jg the better.
