Brady's response through Don Yee

Really puts the blatant lie to Kraft's recent apparently BS statements that BB & Tom were "family".
Some family when one of yours is under intense fire and you flee the foxhole holding a white flag.

Time for the old coot to retire & pass on the reins.
Cant believe people who are actually defending Kraft. If I were Brady I'd feel some serious resentment after all the work he has done, the pay cuts he has taken for the team...everything and the owner is willing to roll over and let Tom be defamed and slandered over a ******** report.

I wish I could say I was surprised by Kraft's "response".

I would have just felt better if they would've found evidence that showed certaintty of wrongdoing. This bs report that was supposed to clear things up in the whole thing, but instead it only raises more questions. Nice going, Wells.

I think the NFL made the wrong person mad...and I think its Giselle. I don't think she will let this bs stand. Yea she stays out of his NFL stuff but this is different. This effects her husband kids and family . She will be on his case to not take this sitting down.
He won't be the villain once you've faced the Brazilian...

Remember the stories of her bodyguards firing shots at pesky reporters when the Bradys were in Costa Rica?
Good times. Good times.

They shot out the back window of the paparazzi's SUV and got 5 years in prison for attempted murder.

Brady denied any knowledge of the gun fire.

As much as I agree, it is like pissing in the wind... people's minds are made up, and Brady will forevermore be called a cheater..
Probably true. But let's go down swinging and with a big middle finger to goodell, wells , and the rest of these pieces of ****

My dream scenario...

The league suspends TFB. He sues the NFL and in the discoveries the involvements of Kensil and Grigson are exposed. Both are fired and the Pats are compensated with high draft picks.

The suspension is reduced to minimal or no games and the Pats make it to Superbowl 50 and win it.

When Goodell comes to hand the trophy to the Pats TFB is there to receive it.

Then in a display reminiscent of Robby Benson in "All the Right Moves" he hands it back to Goodell and says "Omissioner, you can shove this up your azz, all the way up with a red hot poker. I'm announcing my retirement from the NFL. I will no longer play in your corrupt league.

On second thought, go ahead and hand that trophy to Jimmy so he can get used to the feel of it. I'm sure he'll be holding it a few more times before he's done.

As for your beloved Rats, you'd better commence with a vendetta against the other 30 teams as well, since that is the only way they will ever win a championship".

Brady climbs down off the stage and walks off into the locker room for the last time.

I think Kraft's statement sets up potential penalties in that he already knows what the are and it isnt worth fighting them. But thats unfortunate. On the other hand he has 31 other owners that have an opinion that he has to consider.

As far as Yee, of course he is going to defend his meal ticket, but I do belive him but all anyone other than us will see if a an agent defending his meal ticket, probably worse than a lawyer (sorry to the Lawyers out there). But if he really has all he says he does he should release it to the public and make a stand before the hammer comes down.

IF he doesn't then he is as bad as the NFL.

Unfortunately Public Opinion had Brady guilty from GO. This just fuels fire for Haters & Mediots that cooled down because it looked like Pats would beat this and maybe Colts would be implicated but now after reported that Brady 'Probably, Maybe, Could Have' had something to do with it, ALL are jumpin back on Pats Hater Express. FK'm! Lets Get No.5!

This is a witchhunt. The Patriots owe it to Brady to fight this to the end and go for Goodell's job. I was a die-hard pre-Brady, pre-Bledsoe and let me tell you a player and person like TB comes once in a lifetime. We've had Bird, Russell, Orr, and Ted Williams and Brady has been our greatest champion.

How about this as a Brady FU to the League. He is currently in line to make 9 million in salary this year. He would lose roughly 520k for each game potentially suspended and the Pays don't get any corresponding cap space.

what if he approached the Patriots with an offer to redo his deal for 2015. Cut the salary to 1 million and then a 500k per game incentive if and only if he is either on active 53, or injured reserve. Since he met those requirements in 2014, the incentives are deemed likely to be earned and don't change his cap hit so he should be able to redo his deal per the CBA again this league year. If he is on the roster or IR for the entire year, the Patriots get the same cap hit now. If suspended, the Pats roll the money forward while Brady only gives the League 67k per game as FU money

Anyone listening to WEEI or sports hub? I haven't yet and am wondering is there anyone I can listen to that seems to have read the whole report and is fair? Not to learn anything just as background sound. Don't want to hear a sec of radio if they are all condemning the Pats

I would also add something to your script, during the interview on the stage Brady should say "excuse me but I have a few people here to thank" and then gets a paper with a list on his sox, and start with Mark Brunell and all the mediots, after reading all the names he says "for all you haters, including you Roger, here's the 5th ring, it's not for the thumb, it's for the middle, here for all you to see (gets a fake ring and puts in the middle finger giving a big middle for the camera), DEFLATE THIS! (Grab **** showing the finger with the other hand)

Yee and Brady are playing a game of chicken of sorts with the NFL now. They've said "we know your report is bogus and we have info that will not look good for you." They're daring the NFL to suspend Brady. If they do, he will appeal and then release this info in court, win, and slam the NFL in the process. If they don't suspend him, and just fine him, then he can wait til it's official and then release the info after to slam them. There's no advantage to gain by releasing it now.

I think all of the fans should show up with an F U Goodell shirt to every game

As we all know, there are some lawyer-ey PR stunts that are more chest-puffy as opposed to having real teeth.

The language that Donald Yee used was very, very strong. You don't use that kind of tone if you are bluffing.

I have no doubt that they will go to the mattresses over this.

Doesn't matter not fighting back is admitting guilt. If this happened to you or me we'd be screaming bloody murder, I am glad he is attacking this blatant smear head on.

Can be much more than that, Brady can scream all he wants the minds have been made up.. all of this is a charade to "protect the shield" of the NFL.. the NFL had a conclusion and Wells filled in the blanks..

Agreed... I find it interesting that so much in the Wells report was interpreted the way they wanted, and he basically said that he didn't accept the context given by McNally & Jastremski. However, Yee now reveals that Brady also provided context for this information, and Wells left it out entirely. It all sounds like they feel like they can show how slanted this report truly is.

On WEEI there is a health dose of reality and are bringing up the many flaws of the report

It pisses me off that Wells says "McNally & Jastremski said their texts were humor, but I don't believe them. I would have liked to know what Brady knew, but he didn't give us his phone so we'll never know." But he doesn't detail any of the information Brady gave to them in interview. He did know what Brady knew but because he doesn't have any text messages to back it up then it is somehow false and should be completely undisclosed?

It seems clear that Wells only cared about what he could get off of cell phones in writing so that he could twist the messages to support his conclusion and just shrug off any context provided by anyone else. It's honestly probably a very good thing Brady didn't supply his phone to Wells, he could've sent Jules a joking text about his balls (as in, his sack) and Wells would use it as the key piece of evidence showing Brady was talking about footballs, he must have known what was going on.

Well I agree mostly. First this isn't going to court, it will go to arbitration and thats very different, in addition it is highly likely nothing from the arbitration will be released as far as evidence goes. Second, why wait, yeh you might be playing chicken but once and if the NFL announces a suspension regardless of how it ends up the damage is already done. Yes they are playing chicken but Im not sure it is the right train to play chicken with, why wait for it to come to you, like waiting to take the first punch.
