Brady's response through Don Yee

Once again as with supporting Goodell in the Rice situation. Kraft spoke too soon and spoke wrongly.
He needs to step down NOW and hand the reigns over to Jonathan.

Move Bob to Consigliere and Jonathan to the role of Godfather.

Nah! Wells wrote exactly what the League wanted. It convicted Brady on very little to no evidence while totally clearly the League of any wrong doing. Same thing with the Ray Rice investigation which cleared the League of any wrong doing except the stuff they already were caught doing or admitted to.
You need to delete the words "little to" from the above

I'm pleased for Tom Brady that he's not taking this lying down. Whatever your opinion, this is his legacy on the line.

I said from the outset the Wells Report was utterly pathetic if only for its omissions and clear direction to propose guilt. Now, it's over the astute minds in Brady's camp to take Ted Wells' bias to task.

"This suggests it may be more probable than not that the league cooperated with the Colts in perpetrating a sting operation."

What was your take on the scientific analysis done by the league's consultants? Just curious.

Just now back from France & adjusting to time change & busy so I have NOT read the report's tech sections. I HAVE read comments by Dr Pain. My not yet informed take is that the analysis is fundamentally flawed.

No time/location/ temp data on where & when Colts balls measured. They could have risen ti temp as they were measured after the Pats balls. If they couldn't finish measuring these at halftime, how does a mysterious Pats employee have the time to "adjust" each ball down to supposedly where tome wants them?
And most fundamentally a point I've always made, NO error bars on any measurement. With the tiny differences this is critical.
A paid hit job.

I can't wait until a judge discredits the Wells report in court.

Let me ask you something guys, would Brady benefit from taking a page from Pete Carroll, and sitting down to do an interview with someone from the news media (just one person)?

As great as this statement was, I still think he himself needs to tell his story, right from his own mouth, and no surrogates

Excluding Rats fans, naturally, given the dislike of Goodell nationally, people's dislike of obvious injustice, and the disdain many people have for lawyers , isn't it possible that as TFB fights this, that people may come over to the Pats' side on this?

True possibility or wishful thinking on my part?

Don't hold your breath. His statement yesterday indicated he was already wimping out.
Kraft is limited in how he can respond. He has a contract with the league that states in round terms that he has to accept the findings of any league investigation /disciplinary action. Brady has no such agreement.

Thanks, good to know. And will be curious to see what you think when you have time to read it through all the way.

Did @rlcarr change his screenname? Interested in his take as well, but can't seem to find his posts.

It seems so clear to me now that the Wells investigation was turning up nothing of use but to justify the length of time and appease the public they wrote their report with all this innuendo to make it seem that they found more than they did. Everything about this was a crock from day one and if I think about it too much, I may truly go insane.

So...nothing in there from Yee about a definitive denial of the accusations. That is sadly telling.
The sting is true though. But a denial would have been more encouraging.

A denial of what exactly? That he directed them to deflate balls?

Before or after the refs inflated them? To bring balls in compliance (from 16PSI down) or out of compliance (below 12.5 PSI) or where he actually likes them (12.5 PSI).

What exactly are you looking for?

Yee is smart. He is goading the NFL and Wells into releasing more.

I say Brady should hire someone to conduct a professional review of the Wells report, and point out all its inconsistencies and contradictions

Lets get a kickstarter going for an independent review of the league and the Wells report!

Good response. I stand by Tom 100% and truly **** the NFL. If it were not for Tom and Bill still being active I'd boycott the league. I may do so when their time is up.

How could anyone write a 250 page report and still have information missing? I can't even hit 100 pages on my doctoral thesis.

Al Davis never put up with that.

He may not know 100% that the two ballboys/Rhodes Scholars didn't interpret his desire to have the balls at 12.5 as an order to check and deflate as necessary after the officials were finished with them. All he really knows is what he told them to do.
