Brady's response through Don Yee

And it seems pretty clear to me that the practice of hiring a lawyer to do an investigation, rather than just hiring an investigator, is to come up with results that are to one's liking.

It's a powerful response. Now Kraft needs to come out and publicly speak against the league office. Will he do it, though? That remains to be seen. I can certainly hope that he gets tired of watching the league and the media run the train on his quarterback.
Don't hold your breath. His statement yesterday indicated he was already wimping out.

This is no longer just deflategate...like Tom Brady Sr. said, this is now a matter of principle...this is framegate!

Nice, why can't Bob Kraft fight this as well instead of rolling over?

Because he rolls around in a bed of money with all the other owners.

It's total BS, but he's probably more comfortable with Brady taking all the heat instead of the organization

YES! I was so happy when I read this. I know a lot of people are mad at Kraft but I understand his position and I think he's done the best he really can at the moment considering his options (i.e. none). However, Brady does have options available to him. He can fight any discipline, he can take the NFL to court if he so chooses, and he can win. I love it.

I say Brady should hire someone to conduct a professional review of the Wells report, and point out all its inconsistencies and contradictions

Didnt kraft say yesterday. They will accept any punishment given

Happy brady isnt backing down

As TO said before thats my QB

Once again as with supporting Goodell in the Rice situation. Kraft spoke too soon and spoke wrongly.
He needs to step down NOW and hand the reigns over to Jonathan.

Brady was the first named plaintiff in 2011 when they were going to sue the league for anti-trust, what's to say the league aren't going after him for that? I hope he has this brought up in court, go out and really screw Goodell.

I also think this is a very clearly warning shot to the NFL by Brady, saying "Go ahead, make my day. Suspend me. Let's see where this rabbit hole goes."

So...nothing in there from Yee about a definitive denial of the accusations. That is sadly telling.
The sting is true though. But a denial would have been more encouraging.

That Brady made for him

It will be perfectly alright if Brady takes down NFL and along with it the "legacy" kraft has built since 2007 ...

I'll say it again.. assassination job.

The response does hammer home something that Brady and the Pats should keep harping on - if the league was so interested in "the integrity of the game," as they profess so loudly, they would have notified the Pats of the issue before the game and made sure the balls were up to snuff to begin with. Instead they were complicit with a rival trying to embarrass the Pats and tear them down a notch because they are unable to beat them on the field of play. Disgusting.

What was your take on the scientific analysis done by the league's consultants? Just curious.

I thought he already put out a statement that he accepts the wells report and will not fight any punishment that the league hands down. I find this offensive because I have to read how the pats cheated where ever i go. He needs to stick up for his team AND ITS FANS.

Kraft is making a huge mistake.

It's his image that is being obliterated. Not Brady's.

Kraft is killing his image in front of the people who care and pay attention.

Brady is just being raked over the coals by people who lose to the Patriots a lot.
