He didn't get hacked. Darrelle Revis I'm sure is high on the list of hackable people. Not. As to your point about leaving it open, that is a possibility. However if that was the case, state that. Don't state you got hacked.

He's not all that keen to set the record straight about the respect and appreciation he has for the Patriots

I doubt the account was hacked.. Who the heck would hack Darrelle Revis' account? He's a boring guy successful guy that doesn't polarize people . Tom Cruise, Michael Jordan, Arod, the late Michael Jackson, other major political figures have that love/hate polarity...those people are "hack worthy" But to consume time to hack a small fish like Darrelle Revis seems unlikely.

Darrelle probably had a few drinks and some weed and got bored and was a tad uninhibited and just let his ego loose. He's entitled to...he's finally a World Champ, and it took him a decade to do it after being in the cellar with the crappy Jets. He probably said a few things that he might regret. I didn't think he said anything too out of line.

Those were some hilarious comments....the dude that said Tom and Bill won you those rings was awesome!

People use the word 'hacked' to mean that someone else accessed their account all the time. If you think he said hack to deliberately mislead people about the situation I think you're taking it too far.

They all say hack. Hack means someone "hacked" your info illegally through electronic means. It's a crime prosecutable by law. Therefore, I expect some news 4-6 months down the road about said "hacker" being arrested and prosecuted. Yet we never hear about any of these "hackers" being caught. Why is that? Because they say something stupid and then cop out.

I also never thought about the angle someone posted. Why hasn't he vehimently stated his support for the Patriots, Brady and BB? There was some brutal stuff in there. Heck Vereen spoke what we all know as a slight, then clarified it first chance he got. In this case that silence speaks volumes.

If you are implying that he shouldn't have at the very least respect for the organization that he just won what most likely will be his one and only championship, then yeah I'd expect that. If he did indeed state he did them a favor, then yeah I'd feel there is an apology needed. There won't be one, of course because it's a win both ways right?

Bottom line...doesn't really matter to me. When the Pats won the SB, the Pats I thought about were TFB, BB, *whoever made the INT* (I didn't have access to the game, so didn't know who it was), Gronk, Edelman and a few others. Revis helped out, but he was a useful mercenary. Now he's elsewhere...oh well.

Reminds me of an idea I heard once. Find a really hot girl from among your friends and send her a message on FB telling her how hot she is and how you think the two of you should hook up. If she replies unfavorably, just fire the same message to all your friends and post a status that you got hacked. If she says yes...then enjoy.

I hadn't noticed that I too didn't think of Revis much. That may be because I never thought he was going to stay.

Even if he was ´´hacked`` he should apologize or at least express that did not feel that way about the team that provided the chance to him to be relevant again in the NFL. Be cut by the worst team in the league ( this team that had room for 4 Revis ) , is very humbling .
