I know the Colts are in the lead, but this makes sense.

1. Older player who still has 2 good years.
2. Possession outside physical WR, fits our scheme, imagine Gronk on one side and AJ on the other one, that's a physical pairing that will be tough to match.
3. Played for O'Brien so learning our offense shouldn't be too hard.
4. Good character guy
5. Won't be stupid expensive

I hope BB gets it done.

I'd tell him "Sure, you can sign with the Colts and lose to us by 38 points or you can come to the Super Bowl with us."

The fact that he didn't finalize his deal with the Colt might suggest his agent is getting calls.

Never gonna' happen.

I think he would be perfect as the #3 WR and could come cheap I have a feeling AJ is going to get a lot more money then we think from the colts or some other team

I have no interest in andre johnson......it'll be much sadder than watching ocho cinqo no longer being able to play

It would instantly give us one of the best red zone offenses in history, so I can definitely see the benefit. Even assuming that moves are made to shore up CB, I think it's safe to say that the Pats are going to have to score more points in 2015 to stay among the league elites, and red zone efficiency is not a bad place to start.

It all depends on the money, like usual. At anything less than $5M for 2015, I could probably talk myself into it. Unfortunately, I think his market value will be higher than that, and I think there's a very good chance that his performance just doesn't live up to a contract that's closer to $6-8M or so. Since I think he'll get that from someone in FA, I would be surprised if he ends up here.

I'd much rather sign someone younger for the same or less money. Johnson will probably get a pretty good deal and the risk of him underperforming is high. I'd rather have Crabtree or Shorts or Garcon for less money on a longer contract.

Signed with the f*cking Colts

Too late. Colts are this year's Broncos.

I am very, very curious about his contract details with the Colts. Lets see if Grigson overpaid again.

If the colts have a half decent defense, they have to be one of the favorites of the afc.

gimme stevie johnson

Same here. He's a headcase and a diva, but he runs great routes, has soft hands, and can get deep. He'd be the perfect compliment to Amendola, Edelman, and LaFell.

no they don't.......not until Luck can stop coughing up hairballs and looking like an idiot at the worst possible moments....their running game won't be any better
