Saw my name mentioned in a thread that I now cannot find asking about Wilfork's weight bonus. This is what I do know.
He earned it in 2013.
Probably earned it in 2014.
He has 5 weigh-ins. Earns 60K each time he makes the weight.
Do not know dates or required weights.
The 300K Bonus is considered LTBE since it is under his control. Does not matter if he made the weight last year.

The way he looked in the Divisional Round against Baltimore, I would be surprised if he made it again (unless the target is ridiculously high, like 400 lbs).

Has he been below 340/350 since he's been here?

Listed at 325 and he's never looked like he's 325.

Thanks, Miguel. That was me.

It was in response to someone suggesting that he was very overweight this year and that he'd be cut since he had "let himself go" so badly. I responded by bringing the fact that he had weight clauses in his pact (since you informed us of such), and that Belichick likely has him right where he wants him, give or take a few lbs.

I think they probably have excellent nutritionists, trainers, etc who are working to keep them within a certain range, and I disagree that Wilfork isn't working hard to stay where the coaches wish him to be.

Wilfork the day after a weigh in.

Here are details on Cannon's weight bonus incentive
$30,000 for making weight on 4/15, $35,000 for making weight on 6/1 and $35,000 for making weight on 7/15)

350 pounds on the first date, 345 on the 2nd and 340 on the third

I would guess that Wilfork share some dates with Cannon.

So, these dates are mainly meant to stay on top of the players in the offseason then?

Does it seem a bit odd to you that there are no dates during the regular season? Is it safe to say that a player like Wilfork could, in theory, pack on 15-20 lbs throughout the season then?

It's safe to say Vince could pack on 15-20 throughout a WEEKEND.... :)

Love you, Vince!!
