smart, articulate guy. They pushed him on if he thought SEA would score and he admitted he thought Lynch would have scored. I wish he would have said"Lynch was 1 out of 5 from the 1 yard line this year, so our defense would have stuffd him"..oh well.
Talked about how he loves playing for the Pats. I know, they all say similar things, but he sure sounded like he wants to stick around.

Thought he developed slowly, but am really satisfied into the role his is playing now.. I agree he comes across as a very bright young man.

He graduated with a degree in "Media Studies".. wonder if they studied the local contrarians.. Felger, Borges, Shank et al.

Sounded like he wanted to stay, too. A competitive offer would keep him here, I think, but the question is: what's that number?

Which other RB is as good at catching the ball out of the backfield......as long as Pats offer him respectable $$$ he should be a Patriot for a few more seasons.....Even if he doesn't resign, Pats look to be in decent shape with the RB's they already have in the wings....That being said..

SIGN HIM BILL !!!!!

Good chance he is going to be replaced by James White , just like he was inactive in the first superbowl in 2011 and replaced faulk/woodhead after.

Very nice comparison.

Ps: did San Diego falter after wood head got hurt?

Apparently, Demarco Murray got a 4/16 offer. If that's the going rate for RBs like Murray we should be able to keep Vereen for 2-3m

And didn't Esposito sports science show Brady had the strongest arm about 3 years ago? It was all about Brady's torque at the waist, and Mayock agreed.

Here is the 7-minute video. As expected, the headline on the front page of NFL.com is Vereen: SB 'a different ending' if Lynch ran on second and goal, with the accompanying article focusing on only that response and absolutely nothing else from the interview.

Vereen: SB XLIX 'a different ending' if Lynch ran ball - NFL.com

OMG that is so misleading. I watched that segment. He hesitated a dozen times under pressure to answer, then just said that the game would have ended differently. Which is the only thing that is absolutely sure to be the case since the issue is about a different play being called.

Haha good point. I just assumed he figuratively meant a TD via Lynch there too. But if you take it literally, of course, the game would end differently. "I'm not saying NE would wouldn't win, we'd just win differently..."

yup, good chance we keep shane. he sounded like he really wanted to stay.

ridley is probably a goner..

I like SV very much. At the same time I think we forget just how good Ridley can be.

I think it's the opposite. With today's passing offenses teams, James White from last year and what he did in the SB if another team offfers him a tick above what other teams are offering he is gone.

Its very likely Ridley signs a 1 year deal here and not go anywhere else.

From who? If the market for Murray is 4/16 than I want the Pats in on it.

6 fumbles...that won't fly here.

From Dallas. But I think that's only because Bryant is more of a priority and they'll give him a ton of cash.

Murray will likely end up with a better deal than 4/16 from some other team.

Yea I don't see how they keep Dez and Murray.

I think we can use both Vereen and White. Vereen is great leaving the back field to line up as a wide out. Could have both line up with Brady in the gun. Honestly if we lose Dola and keep Vereen and White (big if) shows he can fill the role I wouldn't mind Vereen playing a lot of wide out.
