Be honest: When Kearse makes that catch......

I actually posted that God hated the Patriots. Apparently, He was simply testing them and us.

Oh yeah, I was totally in "it's happening again mode." Was really pissed off, questioning why the football gods hated us so much. Can't help but think the football gods helped us out there on that interception, rewarding us for going through the Tyree play. They wouldn't let it happen to us again.

The football gods are merciful and just. You get what you deserve.
Ultimately the Pats have had some tough plays go against them over the years, but they've had some great plays go for them as well. When you get to the big game consistently like we do, you're gonna have plays land on both side of the equation, for and against you.

This makes up for the Tyree game and 2nd SB loss personally. What a ****ing win

Not gonna lie.....After he made that catch I had my hands over my eyes. Only thing going through my mind was "Not again". I thought for sure we were finished. I didn't even see the interception live. I had to rewind it because I was too busy weeping.

"You've got to be ****ting me!" was the first sentence that left my mouth, and it was the cleanest for the next 30 seconds or so.

i was standing...and then just sat down...just a horrible...horrible feeling..then a huge happy one...why i shed some tears...emotions were big

I was very similar.

Football is unreal. The emotions. The swings. So glad we're on the good end of it this time.

wow

I will not sleep.

Manningham's catch was a great throw and catch. Tyree and Kearse catches were just lucky.

Yeah I get that. Every one of those catches just were painful to watch. But I agree the lucky ones were the absolute worst.

I was shocked And figured we might see the first ot superbowl in history if we were lucky.

Manningham was a PURE football play. Great execution by QB and receiver. Tyree was a fluke, true but AT LEAST he caught the damn thing in a weird kind of way. Kearse play was literally unfathomable how that can happen in such a situation and moment.

Quick story: I live in Northern VA surrounded by nothing by Pats haters in 2007 I got so many mocking texts when they lost.

After that Kearse play ALL my friends texted me laughing. And truthfully I responded back to them and said the patriots are truly cursed. at that moment I believed it...

THANK GOD BUTLER ENDED THAT CURSE BABY!!!

I just couldn't believe we would lose 3 consecutive sbs because of fluke plays.

Then the int a couple minutes later. Awesome.

I was hoping he'd drop it on one of the replays....

I really thought i Saw the ball hit the ground, SO the first thing i did was yell the ball hit the ground about 5 times. Then I texted a buddy saying we are not meant to win s**t.

I'll admit it when he made that catch I thought it was over.

Did I post the same post multiple times? If I did sorry, I'm a little drunk lol.

I had the weirdest feeling I think I have ever experienced. I expressed in the gameday thread that I felt dead. In reality I felt nothing. Felt like my body just went into a comatose state and I couldn't even move. I can't even really accurately explain it. It was just a really messed up feeling. Not angry, mad, sad, just nothingness.

I won't repeat what I said because it would send me to hell.

I had only watched replays and glimpses from the kitchen for the second half. My seven month old spent much of the fourth crying on my wife's lap (unlike him, usually laughing, eating or sleeping, he wad inconsolable). After we got the go ahead score she brought him upstairs. After the circus catch, I went up to check on her, only to hear or guests shrieking about the pick. I ran down and saw the replay...freaked out about the short field to run time out and started pulling out the good ol' PA fireworks...

My first thought was "How much time will Brady have to get down the field?"
If that was really your first thought, I respect you.
I'll admit that my first thought was, "Damn ****ing Tyree all over again."
My second thought was, I don't know who that #21 guy is, but he was as smart as hell to make the tackle when he realized the play was still alive.
Then I wondered how much time the Pats would have to tie the game.

After the initial disbelief of oh no not again I was strangely calm about it. I was thinking of how they can stop them on 4 downs from the 5.
