For not doing their own research on natural deflation of footballs in cold weather and squashing this issue already.

Robert Kraft should be calling Goodell and demanding a public apology.

All this BS over a non-issue. But it's distracting the Patriots, and taking away from their time to prepare for Seattle. BB himself admitted he's spent numerous hours learning about the footballs. Valuable time he could've spent studying the Seahawks and preparing his players.

I fully believe the Pats are innocent, and the media is trying to pin this on them to discredit all their hard work. Of course BB and Brady are pissed.

The funny thing is they played with fully inflated balls in the 2nd half, and that's when the Patriots really started crushing the Colts. The Colts should be taking heat for this.

This isn't an issue about the Pats "cheating"…. this is an issue of the Pats dominating for the past 10+ years. Everyone has been DESPERATELY waiting for their downfall, and it just hasn't happened. They look for any reason to try discrediting the Patriots. So many salty fan bases would love nothing more than the Pats to be caught cheating. Yeaaaaa, as if that's why we beat the Colts 45-7.

Agree, some will say, Goodell never accused the Patriots though. I say bull, he didn't investigate the other 31 teams when it got cold. He began a witch hunt, and I award him no points for failing to find a witch.

I am side-eyeing a LOT of people now, not just the NFL. Just regular people in my life who I never knew were so stupid or so swayed by a mob mentality.

It has an enlightening week. Horrible, but enlightening.

My fear is that since the NFL hired an 'independent' investigator to work on this situation and that means that the fix is already in and the results are already predetermined. Even if they determine, 'we believe that the Pats cheated, but couldn't find any evidence' would still be damning to the Pats in the court of public opinion. And would somewhat vindicate the NFL in this witch hunt.

I'm not making any judgments until I hear the full findings from the league. We don't know 100% for sure what they have. My gut says they have insufficient evidence but tin foil hat says they can whip up anything they like to cover their mule.

I believe that once the NFL started bringing in the heavy artillery, the Pats had to get in front of this and go on the offensive- a first strike if you will. BB used his knowledge and experience in football operations froma postion of strength- that all the lawyers and CSI assclowns collectively had zero of.

“Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.”

Yup, BB got inside their OODA loop big time.
