Harbaugh parts ways with the 49ers

I'm not sure why it would happen either, agree with @Froob though. You've gotta find a way to make it work with a coach like that. Parcells and Belichick aren't the friendliest most lovable coaches either but they got it done.

* It is impossible to be too rude to a Richard Sherman avatar.

* I stand by my claim that no one here truly cares about this Seahawks fan's opinion of Jim Harbaugh.

If this is how he treats Seahawk fans, imagine how he treats Jet fans?

Beside my thoughts on the topic was two short sentences. And they were more factual than opinionated.

Either Harbaugh couldn't get out of there fast enough, or someone in the organization couldn't wait to get him out of there fast enough. It says alot about the total situation there that they didn't even wait until Black Monday to announce this.

Harbaugh may just be too high maintenance to last anywhere for very long. He's like Billy Martin or Bill Parcells.

I've got nothing against you at all. Just loathe Richturd Shermpuke and don't care what you think about Harbaugh. New Jersey Green Beans fans -- well, that's another subject entirely. Drop in on our Jets Suck thread for a sampling of insightful observations and important public service messages.

You should see how he treats them. It's really very entertaining.

We are especially brutal toward the Jest. As for Harbaugh, I don't get it either. He isn't the first HC to get canned for going 8-8. I guess Petey landed on his feet, though.;)

and he is coming to coach my michigan. yoohoo!

This looks like one of those decisions that looking at the results it doesn't make sense, but it was in the air that no one could stand each other. Harbaugh did put the 49ers in the map again, I think they will go back to mediocrity soon.

Also, what's Crabtree contract situation, I think he would be a good fit in out system.

The 49ers aren't getting rid of him because of this season's disappointment, they aren't bringing him back because he's a huge pain in the ass to work with and management hates him. His results speak for themselves, 3 NFCCG appearances and one almost SB victory.

Except for that two cent head thing. Other than that, all the physical attributes in the world! Lol, Crabtree would be lucky to make it through the first round of cuts.

I agree with Tunes about Sherman. He really is a ****.

As for the Seahawks, things have really gone well for them down the stretch. And even now, the playoffs look like a piece of cake for Pete and the gang. It seems as if they played the last half season against terrible or missing QBs and now, due to key losses by other teams, they're aligned to take a week off and meet either a 7-8-1 team or a team on it's 4th QB that they just crushed. Dallas is probably the only team that can beat them now that Suh took care of Rodgers.

I don't see how Seattle isn't in the SB again this year, and imho is most likely a favorite to be the first back to back champion since the Pats. I hope it's our team that would get the chance to stop them.

Dallas could be a bit formidable, if the Good Romo sticks around.

I really did not think he would go to Michigan

Yeah with Harbaugh's SF49's here falling off as they did and some favorable scheduling, SEA didn't really have to earn it as much as in years past. I had really hoped GB would take 1st and make it tough on them. But was like se la vie, until you painted such a rosy picture of 'SEA vs the creampuffs at home relentless march to the SB tour' and now I'm back to miffed. Although I'm not sure NE doesn't actually have more match-up problems vs GB (w/Rodgers).
