Bedard: Broncos should hire Rex as DC after this Sunday

There are 2 coaching jobs that are perfect for Rex.

Oakland and Chicago.

Oakland would be ideal.
Carr is going to be good.

What can Rex tell the Broncos that Fox and Del Rio can't get by studying the game film of the two Pats/Jets contests from this season? As they say, this isn't rocket science (though Patricia has a degree in aeronautical engineering).

Not if Ryan gets his mitts on him before he's finished maturing.

It is rocket science. If you and I study the game film, we might come away with a few details, and learn a thing or two about tendencies. BB will come up with a thousand details. Del Rio is somewhere in the middle, and Rex is ahead of him.

There's also the notion that old dogs don't learn new tricks, and keep doing the same thing over and over again, including forcing a square into a round hole (i.e., making personnel try to fit in a particular scheme rather than the other way around).

Broncos should do a lot more then get rex as a DC..how about a new arm for their boy manning?

The writer whose name shall not be spoken...

...has beknighted Rex Ryan as the Bradykiller and advised AFC playoff foes to hire him for that purpose. Which brings up the age old question...

I think he needs to go back and watch the first game. Brady killed the jests and put up 27 points with 19 minutes of possession.

And this last one once the OL settled in the 2nd half outside of a ball that popped out of LaFell's hands and landed in the jests CB lap his defense couldn't stop the Pats.

I heard that the Oakland job is Harbaugh's dream job.

Yea and Buffalo DC is the rodgers
A. Rodgers17/42 185 4.4 0 2 1-1 0 17.2 34.3
and manning
P. Manning14/20 173 8.7 0 2 0-0 51.8 56.9
killer..no tds 4 ints etc .bla bla bla

I don't know. Brady's had some bumps against him but.......

Does a 4-9 record make you a killer?o_O

Rex is better off with the SF head coaching job

If he's going to be a head coach, #1 would be the 49ers with that defense, and #2 would be Atlanta where he'd have a top 10 quarterback to run the offense while he rebuilds that defense.

No, just slightly above average (in terms of handing the patriots defeats)

TB's Win average is 178 of 232 for a 76.7%
vs Rex is 9 of 13 for a 69.2% win rate

TB would have to go 3-0 over his next 3 starts to give him a 75.0% win rate vs Rex (so I guess that makes Rex better) and 4-0 (13 of 17) to match his career win rate average

There are 2 coaching jobs that are perfect for Rex.

Ottawa and Winnepeg

Ottawa would be ideal.
Go Redblacks!!! (Is that a racist name? I can't even figure that one outo_O)

Fixed it for ya (sort of).
