MNF: DEN vs CIN Game Thread & Manning Honorific Broadcast

color me shocked right now....but still not sold one bit...not yet

Yeh but manning is mad now, I see him slinging it after the half, Cincy I don't think can move the ball fast but manning can...hmmmmm
have you watched so of those manning passes? they looked like wounded ducks. thats why some of themj were dropped. im starting to believe fore head is done.

I'll believe this when the second half clock hits zero and there are no flags on the field.

This game and the past couple of weeks are a good example of how quickly things can change in the NFL. 8 weeks ago Denver was being lauded as potentially one of the most dominant teams ever. 6 weeks ago there were no strong teams in the NFC. 3 weeks ago the Packers were the dominant team in the NFL. Now Seattle is looking dominant, and Denver looks worn out and full of holes.

Lot of time for things to change between now and the SB.

If you go to the Broncos' board. They are making every excuse possible to why none of the offensive problems are Manning's fault.

OK, going to watch the second half. SO far been following via NFL.com and this thread. I'd say Twitter too but it's amazing how quiet all the writers I follow are. Must be in mourning or something.

Give Manning his due. he's done when you bury him at a crossroads with a stake through the hollow safe deposit box where most men have hearts.

But yes, some serious wobblers and airballs.

The one constant in this league is the greatness of #12 and his head coach

Hue Jackson is calling a great game, and has basically eliminated Ware and Miller from the guy, by calling zone running plays and read option looks, which have drawn them up the field, creating running lanes.. Kyle Shannhan did this a few years ago against Demarcus Ware as well, it's the only way to eliminate a pass rusher from the game. Jackson should be getting a head coaching gig this season.

Remember when Eli reportedly had a "tired arm" a few years ago? I think Manning's arm is worn out this year. He has very little left. The light air of Mile High covers up a lot, and if he gets his body behind he can still get the ball downfield, but there isn't much on his balls, and it takes very little for them to end up as dying quails. In a winter game on the road near sea-level, he's going to have nothing.

Keep it going Cincinatti!!!!!!

Yup AAron Rodgers is exceptional. Best Quarterback in football, and the best pure thrower we've seen in a while

Tom Brady is still the best in my opinion.

Late to the party, and I would love to say Elway is a TOTAL freakin idiot, except for the fact that the NFL-backed Broncos almost won it all with Peyton last year.

But now, with Fork-in-Peyton, I can say, Jon Elway you are a godd***ed ph*cking jacka$$ FOOL! Welcome to obscurity and mediocrity Denver for years to come.

Maybe it'll be called "Manning Arm" in the medical literature of the future :)

BTW, this new found running game the Broncos have supposedly found has stalled the last three weeks. So far they have 37 yards on 11 carries. This may be the third week that Anderson has had 3 YPC or less. Anointing him this great running back might have been a bit premature.

Maybe just have Dalton hand off the ball, no passing 2nd half?
The GENO offense!

They may not need to throw. I'm about as worried about Denver's secondary scoring as I am of their passing game.
