This picture sums it up.

Curran wrote an article after GB giving an image that was reminiscent of the one after SB46. Brady sitting at his locker, staring at the floor, looking dejected and pissed, I think GB was a wake up call to this team (not that they needed it) to stay on track. Brady knows the opportunity is a great one, with the way the defense is playing and that this is the year. I truly think this game and the failure to punch the ball in on the last drive lit a fire under 12, quote me now, Brady will play lights out the rest of the year, including the playoffs.

In addition to 12's pissed off attitude, he also is much more comfortable throwing the ball this year than last, and Blount Force Trauma won't be the only weapon this playoffs. Now the Pats have LaFell AND Beastmode in the redzone. The defense isn't a patch job and will be getting healthy with the return of Chandler Jones, Siliga, and Easley. Along with Revis, Browner, and McCourty in the backend. Revis has allowed 2 TDs all year, with the Nelson one being due to miscommunication between he and DMac. Dont'a Hightower is playing unbelievable and Jamie Collins is emerging back into the form we saw against the Colts last playoffs.

And.. Finally.. BEASTMODE IS HEALTHY AND WILL BE HEALTHY ALL YEAR! PROTEIN BARS FOR EVERYONE, LET'S GO!

While I firmly believe New England has a great shot at winning the Super Bowl, I wouldn't go as far to say it's a definite. This team is one of the best we've had in years and I tend to take things on a week by week basis. Get a win, stay healthy, move on to the next opponent. Tom is my favorite football player of all time( even though I have yet to purchase his jersey) and arguably my favorite athlete of all time. However, I think even he would tell you that they still have a while to go. Everything in this league has to be earned. I do love your optimism though ;)

That Brady tirade after Green Bay put the game away is so awesome even though the pats lost I was pumped up seeing Brady curse like that

Hate to be a Debbie downer, but no one in he nfl is guaranteed full health for the remainder of the games, especially our pats

I think it was Joker that gave the Patriots a "puncher's chance" some time ago. Win or lose, I at least want to see a few spit-flying haymakers, satisfy the old schadenfreude/bloodlust :D

Why? Becasue i prayed last night..and the last time i prayed i got a PS2 for Christmas like 15 years ago.

The game must have been frustrating as hell. Especially at the end there (obviously).

With the ball at the 20 yard line and a fresh set of downs, he had ONE opportunity to throw. ONE.

We ran it for 1 yard on the 1st down from the 20. 2nd down was the throw to Gronk. And 3rd down he got sacked. 4th down = missed field goal.

O-line giving up that sack was huge. If it was just an incompletion, it's still 4th & 9 with a good chance we go for it.

This will make for another great scene in "America's Game" early next year..

I really believe the patriots are the best team in the AFC. So I think they will reach the SB. Not sure about winning it but they definitely have a legit shot.

Definetly would have gone for it on 4th and 9. I know it's all second guessing now but I think a screen pass to Edelman or even Gronk on third and 9 to just get a couple yards and move the clock would have been a great call.

This is why many others on the board thought that going for Gronk on second down was a mistake. Especially with Vereen being completely open six yards deep.

That being said, if your star TE has a 1 on 1 in the red zone I guess you should go for it.

Ya put me in the group that thought it was a poor choice. Even had we converted the 2 pt conversion, no way we stop a field goal with Rogers having 330 and all 3 timeouts and all 4 downs to use.

Yup. Take the easy yards (that were there), keep the chains and clock moving, punch it in around 1:10 on the clock. If GB scores from there, they earned it.

Brady is not a long ball QB..yes he hits on some, but it's not his bread and butter....especially in a game where he is being pressured all the time. Rodgers had time to make a ham and cheese sandwich, eat it and down a beer before he had to find an open WR.

I think that those close catches that Gronk accomplishes unfortunately result in some positive reinforcement when it comes to Brady taking the easy check down vs. going for broke.

I hope they talk about that internally.
