As I said earlier, your post basically made no sense. It's a post that makes it seem as if you haven't been following the Patriots, or the NFL, at all for the past 3 seasons.
The Pats have missed on more than a few WRs via draft and FA. Donald Hayes, Stinko, Chad Jackson.
This is why depending on Dobson, Boyce and Thompkins to light it up is such a gamble.
Even if all three are busts - which is unlikely - we have protected ourselves by adding LaFell and another receiving RB - and perhaps a third with Finch. This is why depending on Dobson, Boyce and Thompkins to light it up is such a gamble.
Don't hold your breath! Is he a Patriot yet?
Come on people, ANDRE JOHNSON WILL NOT BE A PATRIOT!!
Uh, I doubt it cause he's not a FAshh, there is going to be a tidal wave of BB is an idiot for not signing Andre Johnson posts.
He's also very friendly with BB...sounds like Kirwan got a call from either Johnson's agent...or Brady's..
Not to mention passing up Keenan Allen last year, a guy who many wanted, and who seems like the closest thing to Anquan Boldin 2.0 to come around in a long time.

I actually think the reason they passed on him is because he is a possession receiver and they wanted someone who could stretch the field and felt they had enough possession guys with the TE's and Edelman and Amendola....
And while i am not certain if this take is right or not i often wonder if Belichick passes on guys like Boldin and Allen because he knows Brady wants to throw to guys who are open and does not like to throw it up for grabs, where the ability get get open isn't their strength but winning the contested balls is.
It's an interesting idea, and certainly possible. Certainly Bethel Johnson was more of a "stretch the field" option than Boldin - too bad he wasn't anywhere near as good a receiver. And I'm not knocking Dobson, who I think will end up being very good.

that didn't stop a few people from hating on him for not signing boldin, when the ravens traded him to the 49'sUh, I doubt it cause he's not a FA
