Excellent news.

Just because we have another 4th rd. pick we cannot trade, doesn't mean the other won't be traded down.

I think we got it for Chung. Welker should be been canceled by Amendola.

Great. That extra 4th is really good news in this class - the run from our first 4th to the end of the 6th round was brutal (in mocks) in watching the talent float off the board.

Because it can't be traded, i'm just glad we'll definitely get to see a pick fairly early on day 3.

Our First (29) and Fourth (130) to move up slightly and pick Zack Martin from Notre Dame. Solder and Vollmer at tackle, hardass Mankins and hardass Martin at G. Then Bitonio to train at C.

I am pretty sure these are the picks we have currently. I did the math myself so I could be off by 1-2 slots.

- #62 (round 2)
- #93 (round 3)
- #130 (round 4)
- #140 (round 4)
- #198 (round 6)

- #244 (round 7)

I agree it puts players like Stork, Coleman, Exum, Reid, Eliis, and others in play. Honestly some of the most exciting prospects are between #80 and #160 in my opinion.

I'd offer our 4th (29) pick to Cleveland for allowing us to successfully sign Alex Mack. It wouldn't hurt to ask. [I'd also consider our late 3rd pick in the alternative to a 4th.] Mack would need to agree on a contract of course.

No clue Glad to be wrong, though. Not sure how Atlanta's 4th round pick is higher than the Patriots.

If I had the time or inclination, I would try to reverse engineer it.

I'm unsure of the exact formula used, but I thought that it may take contract value for players lost into account. If that's the case, either one of these players may have helped, as they received starting caliber pacts IIRC.

Michel Sam will be lucky to be drafted in the 7th round. The horrible combine has made sure of that.
