Jet Player Unity: Revis Agrees with Cro Regarding Brady

This isn't disrespectful at all, just good sportmanship.

And, honestly, the Jets are upset because Brady pointed at their sideline after a TD pass? Isn't that the equivalent of a 6 year old using the "He's looking at me" complaint against one of their siblings?

A NFL player should be embarrassed to complain about something like that.

These guys don't learn. They yap all the time. Then come game time, TFB torches them for 4 TD's and, of course, yaps back with a "See, MF'ers, that's how you do it."

I am amazed about the whining and belly-aching out of NY. I can hear Bill now "Oh shut the eff up. Look at the scoreboard. Oh shut the eff up!"

Such stupid reasoning should not be posted here really. I just can't start to break down where his logic fails. The worse thing is that he will not even know the right way to think.

Never argue with stupid, they will bring you to a stupid level and then manhandle you with experience at stupidity. --Mark Twain.

Let's see trash talking before a game is a "good" culture. Trash talking after a game is good whether you win or lose. Brady talks trash during a game (and probably only when they are winning) and that's a problem?

You know what would cure his angst? Signing on withthe Patriots because I hear winning cures alot of problems :rocker:

I don't even know where to begin with Revis' comments and his rationalization of his point of view.

What is he trying to say, that it's okay to say anything you want before a game, but if that opponent goes on to defeat you then they should not say a single word afterwards?

Is he trying to imply that there's no trash talking by any NFL player other than Tom Brady during a game?

Give me a break, the Jets are well known by anyone and everyone that follows the NFL for being by far the biggest trash talkers in the league; for him or any other person within their organization to complain about what somebody on another team said is the ultimate in hypocrisy.

Memo to Revis and the rest of the Jets: if you don't want opponents to do something "disrespectful" like pointing to your sideline after they score a touchdown, then perhaps you should consider toning down your smack talk leading up to and during the game. Please help all fans and players out by letting us know where we can obtain a copy of the NFL Smack Talk Handbook, which would include a list of what is and is not acceptable behavior. My guess it would simply say that the Jets can say or do whatever they want, and nobody else can say or do anything.

Good gawd, pointing fingers at someone else and saying they lack sportsmanship? What a ####### hypocrite. How about applying the same standards to your own coach and teammates, and publicly tell them the same thing? How about telling your team they should stop flapping their arms after scoring a TD because it's disrepectful to the opponent, poor sportsmanship, and not "in between the lines"?

The Jets are the stereotypical schoolyard bully: they can dish it out, but they can't take it. They are literally the last team in any sport to be complaining about what someone on another team says or does, and literally the last ones to be talking about sportsmanship.

Who are the Jets?

aren't those comments coming from those guys actually a compliment?

keep on *****ing Darelle.

Keep on *****ing

The way Revis goes on about Brady & Belichick has to mean that he's falling in love with them and probably wishes that he was on the Pats! ;)

Revis also mentioned that Rex Ryan would have said "suck my feet" as opposed to Belichick's remarks. This a lot more "classy."

They're really clutching at straws those Jets.

Just when you thought that loathsome franchise couldn't get any more pathetic, they come up with this crap IN MAY! The Patriots definitely are in their tiny, underdeveloped pinheads.

I can't wait until the Pats DESTROY that sewage receptacle of a team twice this coming season.

No Comment! Why feed into this BS! NY Post is a joke, I'll NEVER buy it again! But I will glance at back page when we SPANK jets twice this season.

Revis is as bright as the fan base.

Well apparently Rex is not above some of the classless things our defensive coordinator was doing. So, doesn't surprise me that his lack of common sense and good judgement has permeated deep into the defensive unit of the Jets. Only difference is our demons are gone, and theirs is still HC.

"Each game we might also designate an opposing player with a dot," Ryan wrote in a chapter entitled, 'Blunt Force Trauma.' "Players don't want to be dotted by the New York Jets, because that means we want that dude knocked out of the game. Of course, it has to be legal and by the book
I would not be at all surprised if Brady knew this was going on. In which case being a little pissy is understandable. And who is Revis to dictate whats the proper decorum for what to say. Takes no class to say this, and didn't he put down 1/2 of the NFL's WR's in 2010 by calling them lazy? This guys ego is huge to think he can rate anyone publicly on TV according to his personal standard.

Rex’s mouth wrote checks his team couldn’t cash
With his trophy predictions and trash
“Bill’s a jerk,” said Revis
Well maybe, but know this:
They should their big mouths and pay cash!

It seems likely that many of the Jets players are distant brothers and are also decendants of an ancient line of Cromarties. It all started in Greece with Hardonis Cromartis. Hardonis started out as a trader of dirty bath water, but became famous for his running of cross country marathons where he would always finish last due to his habitual stops at huts of ill repute along the way. The lineage reemerged in India with Shrimanwhore Cromardhi. As a member of the Untouchable caste Shrimanwhore was considered an outcast and the lowest of the lows even amongst his peers. Living on the outskirts of a small village, Shri's job was to perfect sexual relations between men and animals. Specializing in smaller animals like rabbits, the effects of inbreeding soon wiped out the Cromardhi line. It has been long suspected by learned historians that the family of Revis was the one successful outcome of this abnormal pairing. All that is left of the manuscript detailing the creature's escape from India is this painting.

There are sketchy reports of members from the Cromartis line acting as sperm collectors for dying soldiers on the battlefield during the Peloponnesian War, but it is uncertain if this was sanctioned by Athens or just for kicks.

The latest record shows the Cromarties surfacing in Italy with Graboneo Cromartinni about 400 years ago. Speculation is that the last of the Revis creatures which was carrying the Cromardhi gene mated with a dairy cow in the city of Trani giving birth to Graboneo and establishing perpepuation of this vile, sex crazed lineage. After emigrating to the United States it was only natural the current line of Revis/Cromartie eventually find themselves in the most disgusting city in the world, New York. Through the evaluation of fecal matter in the city's sewers they had managed to locate a group of their long lost siblings which inhabited an infectious swamp called the Meadowlands. Their leader, Rex Ryan, is a decendant of ancient Rome's Rexus Maximus The Smelly, but that's another story.

Because the Giants are the NFL's darlings for having vanquished the Evil Empire not once, but twice, they are teflon-coated when it comes to criticism of any sort. The team that went 4 freakin' years without making the play-offs is now the model franchise.
