Before the assault he was 1st round in mock, say him going mid first round in plenty of mocks

for us draftniks, today is just like yesterday. A day of misery redeemed by a really nice pick at the end. Was mocking Dennard to us earlier on. Really liked his value in the second. LOVE IT in the seventh.

He was dropping prior to punching the cop, then he went into freefall

Steal and a half. It wasn't that long ago that Dennard was a projected late first rounder. At the low price of 7th round because he punched a cop, lol. I'll take it!

Punched the cop in the face that attempted to break up the fight by the reports I read. The scouting report did say he used his hands well.

I wonder if 5 rounds of dropping qualifies for a Chip on Your Shoulder

I'm generally against punching cops in the face, but sometimes it works out for the best.

Dennard allegedly was fighting with another man outside a bar. When the authorities tried to intervene, Dennard allegedly punched one of them in the face.

This is another version of the late round shoot-the-moon pick. IF he can stay out of prison, they've picked up a starting-caliber DB for nothing.
