Most everyone on this forum has had their suspicions of you being the lowest form of a troll for some time now: a fan of another team, masquerading as a fan of the Patriots. Thank you for coming out of the closet and removing any doubt that anybody on this site may have still had.

Lame .... pathetically lame.

Now that the troll has exposed himself, can we please bid him farewell?

I'd second this opinion.
But before he's banned, I'm immensely curious what team he's actually a fan of.
I must admit, he's trolled in the most civil manner I've seen in a while.

I wonder who snitched this to the league. Most likely will be blacklisted by most franchises in the NFL.

so basically payton was aware, like let's say joe paterno was aware

i wonder if payton will be fired or suspended from the league for a year.....hmmm

Word out is Benson knew as well

That team is going to sink lower than the city itself

Re: Breaking: Saints Break Bounty Rule

Adam Schefter: Discipline for the Saints could include fines, suspensions and forfeiture of draft choices.

Ah crap. I bet Goodell is going to take the Saints (our) 1st rounder away this year.

yeah benson told them to quit it, they didn't

how can payton escape this with a job? i can't imagine it, he just helped embarrass the hell out of the saints, and taint their sb win

Yeah thats not going to happen.

Probably not. But if Goodell wants to clean up the game, he should make an example of this! He should seriously consider an indefinite ban of Williams at the very least. The guy actually contributed to the payouts and there are allegations he did the same in Washington (not sure if there's actual evidence).

Tony Dungy Blamed Peyton Manning’s Current Neck Problems on a Hit Against Washington in 2006, When Gregg Williams Was Coach

Seems Manning may have grounds for a lawsuit. It's one thing to get injured during the course of a game, it's another to be injured by players specifically being paid to do so with the knowledge of the coaching staff.

At first I thought this was a stretch, but perhaps it is not; consider this: the bounties lead to an injury that leads to his team cutting him rather than paying him a $28 million option, plus $7.4 million this year, $8.4 million next year, and whatever other roster bonuses he would have made?

Oh yeah, the lawyers are going to be lined up a mile long hoping to get a chance to take his case against the Saints to court.

Which would lead to .... Peyton becoming the new owner of the New Orleans Saints! Archie will love it!

j/k ... or maybe not.

Well that SB win is tainted because the hits they put on Kurt Warner and Brett Favre on the way to that Super Bowl were ridiculous. The refs completely blew all of the roughing the passer calls in those games. I was disgusted when I was watching.

Very serious shyt, the League has to come down very hard on Williams and the Saints..

Compare to violating a videotaping rule.. no comparison.

It's saying something that I remember that hit from years ago.

Man, this is some interesting stuff. Wonder how poor Pherein is doing?:(

That being said, I'll tell you why I'm, for lack of a better word, smug about this. I have nothing against the Saints other than the fact that they have been painted as darlings of the NFL by the media while the Patriots have been painted as this bad team run by a corrupt man who has zero integrity. Like the Patriots are the evil team of the NFL while everyone else is bursting with genuine competitive spirit. Give me a break. It's not even just that it's the Saints, it's that it's ANYONE else.

If Roger Goodell is fair and reasonable then the St. Louis Rams should be searching for a new Defensive Coordinator.

That is one nasty hit on Peyton but it didn't look deliberate to me. It was not very Pollard-ish, a step down from that.

You know who I feel personally real sad for?

Our member Pherein..probably the classiest non Pats fan on this website

......I feel bad for him, even worse than he did for us when the Pats lost the SB

Re: New name for the SAINTS??

Hey I think the whole situation is somewhat funny given the crap I've taken from some of their fans over spy gate but I refuse to lower myself to coming up with and or using a ridiculous name.

And the obvious answer is taints.
